woulda liked that "attach picture to post" feature. some boards support this feature, thought it would be helpful. maybe its too much of a hassle due to webspace and all that

yeah thats the main reason i've disabled attachments (the old board supported them too).

I wanna see how the bandwidth compares now we've upgraded, its supposed to improve

Ya'll noticing the speed.. damn its nuts!  even when there are 80 people on the board it doesnt slow down. we hit 110 online yesterday, thats the most for a long time! (the record is 204 set a year ago july 30th..)

also if you look at the stats for yesterday we had an extra 3rd over normals worth of hits, we had roughly 30,000, normally its around 20,000. plus over 1000 new topics, whereas before its been hovering around 500 ish a day.

 I know a lot may be due to the upgrade, but i'm happy as hell that the board doesnt slow down when its busy as it means people stick around instead of coming back later. more people posting means theres more to reply to, and keeps people here!

i think it works something like... you say "xxx meg on the server can be used to attachments" and give them a life of so many days or let newer ones kick the oldest ones off..

This is a moot point, but the text in the news box on the main page (that currently says "Will be a little downtime tonight as I'm going to take a backup.. 'Seer.") should really be in another color than black. You can't read it unless you paint over it. A moot point like I said, but still.

* Ignore function to work for all posts from a user.. ?
* More/Custom smilies ??
* On Quick reply you have to hit the ">" first, no big deal, but would be better if it was on by default (Can not change in profile, resets to "Show off as custom" by itself)
* When hovering the mouse over a username, you can not see the OG username any more at the bottom of the screen. Will get annoying with people changing their name 10 times a week.
* Sticky topics look almost like any other topic, almost same icons.. possible to change icons.. ?

^ that bug only affects certain posts not all, i'm enquiring about it

- the quickly reply thing is an option in your profile.

- the username thing cant happen, it uses the user number everywhere for speed

- i'm gonna look into changing the icon

- i need to sort out the smileys, i have collected some already

- would the calendar be that useful? i never enabled it on the old board either!

Yeah, and impossible to change.
Once you hit "Change my profile" it jumps back to "Off by default".

i don't know if you can go through all of other people's posts but when i go to my profile, and click on "show posts" on the left....it gives me 90 pages and 2240 something posts
