i personally prefer the 'mafia' style of the older games than the new 'boyz n the hood' style. its a cool game....im having a lot of fun with it...have been playing it for a couple days straight now lol. i like the fact that you have to keep yourself healthy by eating right and working out and stuff...and how you get respect by the missions as well as from your haircut, clothes, etc....i can't wait until my respect level is high enough to run a big gang. the graphics could be better though....a lot of times during the game if its during a sunrise or sunset or just in a darker part of town you can't see much at all...and when it rains it looks like crap...

mafia style?? again? why?    the last 2 games had mafia's...i think its time that they did something new with this game, and they did. i like this alot better then the previous GTA games...and besides i heard that the mafia is in vegas section of the game, so its all good.

yeah i keep forgetting to feed my guy too....its cool how swimming and riding bicycles and running builds muscle though.

i do wish they would've toned the swearing down a bit....i dont have a problem with people swearing but they do it so much in the game that it just starts to sound stupid....but yeah being able to respond postively or negatively is really cool

cant say ive ever lived in LA during the early 90's, but im going to go out on a limb and guess they swore alot. Hell i swear alot, and it doesnt bother me.

As for the type of game. Who cares if its not "mafia" they've already done two of those. Gotta switch it up or else it would kind of get old (storywise)

yeah this game is good as fuck, right now i'm just taking over all the balla's turf area by area....i have about 3 balla turfs left to take, i own 2 houses, i have a fully pimped out lowrider (that some asshole crashed into at the first stop light, ending in his quik demise), and right now i've done all the areas missions except for the lowrider missions
