I don't like Encore that much, but I hated 50s CD, so I disagree.

better production.. better topics.. em lyrics aint that much better.. more serious.. more hits.. almost every song on GRODT is pretty good.. encore is garbage.. the obie , g - unit, lloyd, young buck, 50, are all better than encore..

I agree only cuz Eminem was singing and acting too goofy on a lot of songs.

Obie Trice's cd was good but Im not sure if its better than Encore...yet

G-Unit, Lloyd Banks, and Young Buck cd's sucked, Encore was better than those

I'm not defending Encore. I just hate 50s CD.

Better topics? Other than 21 Questions, he only had one topic. "I'm a gangster, you're not, so I'll kill you if you fuck with me". The whole album revolved around that.

At least Em had Mockingbird, and Yellow Brick Road to add a little depth. Even evil deeds was deeper than it seemed. It was a weird breakdown of his life and actioins. Once again, I don't think it's good, but I really didn't like Get Rich...

gangsta talk >>>>>>>>>>> farting, throwing up, mumblin senseless bullshit in weird accents

I gotsta agree

an Eminem album with 9  Dre beats not living up to a 50 album with 4 Dre beats.. pretty sad

I'll take second rate comedy over the same gangster fairy tales I've been hearing since 1991. At least Eminem is different. I'd rather have different and bad then cookie cutter and bad.

I haven't heard Encore yet, but I doubt it.

Get Rich or Die Trying = 1/5

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
