LMAO...LeBron stats don't mean shit...Look by the end of the year who accomplishes more, it'll most definitely be Kobe. Kobe is on another level, dude. You should know that...That's why all 30 GM's in the NBA ranked him the best shooting guard in the NBA...PeACe

Lebron is doing better than Kobe did his first 2-3 years  ;D

The only statistic you forgot to say is that Cleveland has a negative record. Anyway 5 games played..

LA will have a negative record too soon. Get used to it. Kobe isnt Shaq.

Man i aint tripping, and yes i'm still a Laker. I mean i'm not the kind of fan who dreams about impossible things, i'm realistic. Like i told you many times i'm a Laker fan since Ceballos used to do surf during the play-offs and Van Exel used referees as a punjiball, so.. i can accept negative seasons. Expecially now that the team is a mid level team and not a top team. I knew this was going to be an hard year for us, i accept it. Still you have to consider Lakers played 4 games on the road, against teams who are better than the ones Cleveland faced. And you have to consider we miss 3 good (i mean comparing them to the rest of the roster) players like Medvedenko, Divac and George. Not superstars, but we need them. And that's the truth.

Of course. We welcomed Shaq in L.A. back in 1996 starting the "Shaq era". We won our first trophy after 4 years.
Now it's the first year of the "Kobe era". Let's give him at least the same time (and a better supporting staff).
We will have some space cap in 2 years, and a lot in 3 years.
I say in 4 years we will be ready for a Championship.

something you shouldnt forget is that Kobe is 30 (!) in 4 years.

Kobe is in his prime now. He wont get any better.

that's almost like LeBron's first season man... and it wont have anything on LeBron's 2nd season.

Quote
# Named 2003-04 NBA Rookie of the Year becoming the first Cavalier and youngest player to ever receive the award
# One of three rookies in NBA history to average at least 20 points, five rebounds and five assists in one season (O. Robertson, M. Jordan)
# Scored a career-high 41 points versus New Jersey on March 27 while dishing out a career-high 13 assists
# Winner of the bronze medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

PPG 20.9
FG% .417
APG 5.9
RPG 5.5
STE 1.65

You  figure, LeBron's first season almost matches Penny's second season.
In addition to that LeBron was a extremely young rookie.

What i mean is that Penny looked awesome in his first years. Then he got injured, then he lost his confidence, now he's just a wack SG who's paid 15m $ per year. You know what i mean? You never know. You cant say how a player will be in 10 years. Look at Kobe Bryant. He strarted with all them airballs against Utah, remember them? He started on the bench, and Jones was the starter. Phil even asked to trade him in 2000! Then he took Lakers over his shoulder and he became the man you most wanna see with the ball in his hands in the 4th quarter. You gotta give LeBron a couple of years and more time to learn the game. Yes, he's fantastic! Yes, he's in the top5 SG's of the league. But let's give him some time. He plays in a wack team, where he'll never win a title. We gotta see if he'll move from there, and if he'll have one day a team built around him and built to win. And you gotta see him finally playing in the play-offs, TO WIN. Cause it's totally different from playing in the Cavs, trust me.

Anyway Lakers have now a tied record, with a big W in Houston, after 5 straight on the road. That's a surprise for me, it's a great record considering the skills of the team and the absence of Divac, George, Medvedenko and, let me hope about it, Karl Malone.

yea of course if he becomes badly injured, he's screwed. but let's not hope for that. Cavs roster gobbles dick, but it took Jordan a while to have a competitive NBA team as well.

and fuck you for spoiling the Lakers / Rockets game, I fell asleep during the 1st quarter and wanted to watch it now lol  >:(

btw Kobe should grow a fancy 'fro again :D bald, he looks kinda weird lol
