When it first came out I thought he did, 'cos Dre didn't usually appear on tracks that he didn't produce or mix, so. But I did hear that he produced a track for them, and 2Pac jacked the beat and used it for another version of "Toss It Up" or something along those lines.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

The "Toss It Up" version that was on the 7 day theory is actaully a remix.  In the original version, the beat sounds almost identical to "No Diggity".  Since they both came out around the same time, they thought it would be a better idea to just remix it.

I heard the beat to the OG version of "Toss It Up" was a Dre beat that he originally intended for Blackstreet to use, and since "Toss It Up" is a diss towards Dre 2Pac jacked the beat but didn't or couldn't officially release that version or something.

I have the original and it sounds nothing like a dre beat, but I could be wrong.

Ok, I got it now. Dre actually took the beat to the original version of "Toss It Up" (minus the verse about Dre) and he helped produce Blackstreet's "No Diggity" (as you said the Og of "Toss It Up" & "No Diggity" are very similar). Supposedly his reasons for taking the beat was because of the gay rumours that 'Pac, Suge et al were spreading. 'Pac then went on to recording the released version of "Toss It Up" and also added the verse where he disses Dre. I THINK thats about right now. Bit confusing  ;D
