Wich one do you think is the the best comeback song?
Lyrically & beatwise, not how it influenced the audience, just lyrically & beatwise.
Peace

Lyrically Rakim's track shitted all over Dre's from a very great height. Jay Z is capable of writing clever rhymes, but Still DRE didn't showcase that for a moment.
Beat-wise I feel the other way round. Still DRE was vintage Dre production - not really one of his greatest beats, but the signiture sound we were anticipating. Guess Who's Back was funky, but a little too commercial for Rakim IMO. He still sounded good over it, but it didn't represent his style to the same extent that Dre's beat did.

"Still D.R.E". I just think it represented so much, and as soon as "2001" dropped it made even more sense and it gave all the doubters and critics a big ass slap across the face.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

Ok, lemme answer that again, lol. Beatwise "Still D.R.E", easily. Lyrically "Guess Who's Back" was more advance, but I think "Still D.R.E" captured the point better, really made you feel like Dre was back for good.

Lyrically Guess Who's back, no doubt about it. I was surprised when I heard "Still D.R.E." was written by Shawn Carter, cuz it didn't sound like Jigga. I really don't care about the lyrics of that song, but beat-wise it's

for me personally, Guess Who's Back... just because I was so hyped about new Rakim at the time... not that i wasnt hyped about Dre... both songs are dope, Still Dre has the better beat, but Ra was just superdope on the mic to me.
