Paid Tha Cost - Potential 5 Outta 5 Album??
« on: June 13, 2002, 04:16:50 AM »
i really think that with the current tracks, and the tracks we could look forward by dre and others, we could have a classic album here....  i mean... lets say snoops staff picks the 9-10 best tracks from the 3 bootlegs and adds 3-5 more top quality joint...

am i trippin???

no doubt...we should only expect the best from Snoop...he's the man, and hes' got the best flow on the whole rap game...why shouldnt he give us another classic?   i remember awhile back when Jay Z dropped, then Nas dropped, I was saying that it was gona inspire Snoop as one of the heavyweights in the game to step it up , and thats what he's doing....Good for Snoop Dogg, maybe he can finally give us the album we've all been waiting for, only time will tell.

Man, actually i'll twist with ya on that level... I really can't say 1 bad thing about these bootlegs! This is some hot stuff... and with the tracks we know are to come, this could end up being a tight, tight, tight album.  Depends on how it's sequenced, what tracks they add, and how dre fits in.  Really, about a dozen of these tracks I think are hot.

It depends on how you define your classics... to me a classic needs to be diverse, so if there's some slow tracks on there, a lot of people won't like them, and hate on it, but I think some of the SLOW stuff on the bootlegs (like the love songs to his wife) are some of his best stuff in years.  Lyrically tongue twisting, LOL...

So, to me, a classic would have, 4-5 SOLID songs, like "Time Goes On" and "We Gon Handle It"... 4-5 HARD songs, like "For Real" or something, with the classic guests likeRBX on that one.. and then a few slow songs... That would be classic, and he ain't far from it.  He's probably 80% classic right now.. .and that's real.  Remember, "Topp Dogg" was almost classic, think about life without that album.  Peace~

Ima say somethin' contraversial.

If Snoop does a SLOW track with Kid Rock, it'll be great.  I don't really like Kid Rock's fast stuff, but his slow stuff? Wow.

I think we need to think about that, becasue he already said Kid Rock was gonna be on the album.

i must have forgot about kid rock...i havnt heard any news on him working with kid rock in a long time...he should leave kid rock off the album and do a slow song with Barry White

A Kid rock song like "Only god knows why" or "Lonely road of faith" would rock on this album, LOL.  With a hiphop R&B beat, of course.
