DJ Quik or Dr. Dre?

Oh shiiiiit, Dre hands down can outshine any mothafucca but, to me, Quik is the best producer  next to anybody not name Dr Dre.  That's REAL talk!!

Quik is a legend but I have to go with Dr. Dre. 

On the eve on the "Trauma" release and with this album fresh in every1's ears I would expect alot of ppl. to give this poll to Quik, but when Dre releases "Detox" lets do this poll again and see if ppl. change their minds!

Dre, his beats always hit, and they just have that stature. I love what Quik did on Trauma (and you can obviously see the Dre influeances all over that bitch), and Quick is still my second favorite producer. But regardless, its Dre all day!

dj quik.. sumthin bout quik's production..each time u listen u hear sumthin new in it..u can fall asleep with the shit on..wake up..it sound like a whole new album or song..

dre...after awhile everything sounds the same.. dre is only good 4 the 1st listen...he's like twista..1st time is amazin..after that...

dre is a better producer / mixer and sounds better than quick on the mic. his voice annoys me although he's a superd ope producer i dont hear a quick track and have the same impact as a dre track.

like when you put 2001 in your stereo the production ismindowblowing its like crystal comin g through the speakers everyhting is so timed, perfect and precise.

To me Dre's a legend, but Quik is juz a fuckin musical genious.

Dr. Dre easily. I love Quick, but he has always kept it purely Westcoast. Dre has expanded and has taken more creative steps for 3 decades, and has stayed on top. He's been able to dominate the mainstreem and rock the streets simataniously...which most could not do (including Quick). People say Quick is "timeless"... but if you ask me, it's Dre's music that's timeless. Quick has never been able to produce anything as timeless or epic like the NWA albums, The Chronic, Doggystyle or Chronic 2001. Dre is better from every aspect, and he has more layers in his tracks as well. I can listen to a so called "simple" Dre beat for a year...and pick up somthing in the beat that I never knew was there. And if anyone were to be compared to Dre, it would be DJ Premier and RZA before DJ Quick.

So...

I prefer Dre, haha.
