Bad Intentions-Put It On Me
« on: April 17, 2002, 11:33:24 PM »
Bad Intentions (dr dre+knockturnal)
Put It On Me (dr dre+dj quik)
These 2 songs are similar (talking about the topic of the song)
and are 2 of the tightest west coast's song of the moment....
Which song do you prefer?
In terms of best beats and lyrics.

Bad intentions is a nice song, the beat is tight and the lyrics not so special to me.....
Put It On Me is a fuckin awesome song, the beat is hella tight and its the first time.......dj quik and dre TOGETHER on a track.
So....for me,Put It On Me is the West coast anthem of the Year....

and you?

I like both but Put It On Me is the best out of the both. The beat/lyrics are doper, Quik comes off real tight & I love Mimi's parts.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

I also like both but 'Put it on me' seems to be the better track.

Put It On Me

Its Such A Better Beat (IMO) And The Lyrics Are Far Better - Plus After A While Knoc's Voice Bores Me While Mimi Keeps It Fresh Each Time I Hear It :

"Now We Just Kickin Back Playin On Some PS2/
Contemplatin The Game Dre And Me Best Do/"  :o

Final Word - Dre And Quik Need To Collaborate More  ;)

peace

"Put It On Me" is def. tighter.  You got the world's greatest producers just braggin all over this song.

I'm glad Quik is doin more tracks wit Dre for his album since "Put It On Me" would have been the only one if it were to be released in May like it was org. supposed to.

Hard one this... both beats were blazing, but Dre should put the mic down for good, in my opinion... anyway, out of the two tracks, I liked "Bad Intentions" better.

i gotta admit, at first when i heard bad intentions, i thought that song was wack as fuck, but then afta a few hearing of it, i was hooked on the muthafucker, i mean i just cudnt stop singin the knoc part of the song in my head all the time

but put it on me was one of ma fav joints ever for some reason even thought i aint really down with dres part on the song! i mean i love mimi's part, the song wudnt have been the same without her i think but the part i can get out ma head is dj quicks verse after the hook and the part like homie rud sed

'now we just kicking back playing on some ps2/
contemplating the game, dre n me best do/

i love that part

my vote: put it on me
