East meets West: Snoop & Jigga Plan Joint LP?
« on: November 29, 2002, 07:20:28 AM »
"Is the rap world ready for a West Meets East Collabo? Snoop and Jigga Plan on making it a reality on a joint Album.

With both artists being considered tops of their coast and both having unique styles it'll definitely be something to look forward to. Snoop recently told MTV that the two camps still hadn't nailed anything in stone, but he's very hyped about the whole idea. Snoop also went on to say that with Jay-Z being the King of the east coast and him being the King of the west it would go a long way to completely squashing the so called East/West beef for good. " (wckillaz.net)

What do y'all think ?
In my opinion snoop and jay z is not a tight combo, i prefer a 213 album!

Ya, as if i wanna hear Jay and Snoop together!  Jay sounded ass on Snoops album, and Snoop was shit when he guested on the Dynasty album.  This is a terrible idea, for both of them.

I think they Should do a compilation mixing East/West Coast artist or a Doggystyle/Roc-A-Fella collabo for a soundtrack..I dont think the world is ready for a Snoop Dogg/Jay Z album because they didnt do alot of single songs together.

This would be a huge album IMO.  I would love to hear that shit.  You'd see Snoop and JayZ both stepping up becuase they would want to outshine eachother. KNow what Im saying?   Snoop would prolly bring the mad flow back and try really hard to compete with Jayz's delivery and lyrics.  I dont know about Jay, but it would definatly bring the best outta Snoop.  Production wise, you know theyd only fuck with the best for that album.  It would be HUGE
