Yo homie... what'd you think of the first game of the series?  Did you see our young phenoms Carter Jenson and Jac Cagliogne?  Bobby Witt didn't do too much other than beating out a couple of key double plays that could've changed the game.  Your shortstop didn't field one of them cleanly.  But I think Soto made a nice play and stole a double from Salvador Perez.

It was one of our most exciting games of the year.  Seeing a bumb from Triple AAA Tyler Tolbert—the last guy on our roster—get the record for 12 consecutive hits in 12 consecutive plate appearances!!   That energized our whole team.

16-12, what a crazy score.  Senga looks good, because you always think the Asian guys are never going to make a mistake, but we certainly got to him.  I like that your team uses an opener.  I think that strategy makes a lot of sense.

Your lineup seems to be struggling after the top two-three guys in the lineup.

...we got to see/hear Eric Hosmer call the game as color commentator for the KC broadcast so he kept recalling memories from being in the NY stadium in 15.  It was probably the most entertaining game the Royals have had this year

I think the Royals are hot right now and energized by Tolbert.  We may sweep the series and restore some small bit of hope for our season before the All-Star break

it was sad to see my guy Lugo roughed up I'm not gonna lie...looks like he's been struggling a bit this season

the good thing is we have a couple of kids Carson Benge a 23 year old outfielder and AJ Ewing a 21 year old outfielder who have given up a bit of a spark

and Soto has been Soto one of the best offensive players in baseball

as far as the Royals I am really looking forward to seeing Witt Jr. and Caglione up close tomorrow, I hope they are both in the lineup

and Michael Wacha is scheduled to pitch...he was with us in 2020 the 60 game joke of a season...after he left here he became a good solid pitcher again

Yeah I forgot to mention your guy Lugo.  That's pretty cool you got two X-Mets this series.

solid outing tonight by Christian Scott one of our young pitchers who is coming off Tommy John surgery

he and Nolan Mclean give us the best shot at winning a game...basically we have a good chance to win 2 out of every 5 games which isn't a recipe for success

I'm so pissed man... it's like immediately after our most exciting game last night, we have to have a total downer the next night.  What a buzzkill, smh

...yeah, we couldn't get to Scott.  Seems the Mets have found something with that guy.

Mets struggled most the night offensively.  I'd never even heard of that guy we had on the mound, I still don't know what the hell was going on with that, and somehow he held the Mets to zero earned runs.  Then you got to our bullpen and the Mets bats finally broke out there at the end.  But I really don't think it was much of a good game for either team -- but when you win it feels good so I'm sure your happy enough with it.

Wacha tomorrow night, he better have a great start since he got chosen for the All-Star game and needs to look good going into it (and then that may mean he's not allowed to pitch at the All-Star game because I heard there is a rule about not wearing guys arms out) and then going to see how Jac Caglione does in the Homerun Derby, but All-Star game just isn't what it used to be like back in the day when Bo Jackson and Wade Boggs were hitting back to back homers.  Yawn... wake me up when the second half of the season starts.

Infinite Caglianone has a really sweet swing...he looks like a player...and Bobby Wit Jr is already one of the top players in the game

I think you guys need pitching though, both Lugo and Wacha are veterans and they seem to be on the downside a little

and what happened to Cole Ragans? 2 years ago I saw him pitch against the Mets and he looked like a future Cy Young...I know that hes had some injuries since then but is he supposed to be back anytime soon?

They mentioned about a dozen times in the broadcast about how Sean Manea was drafted by the Royals and traded as a minor league prospect for Ben Zobrist—who basically was the difference maker in us winning a World Series in 2015.  Zobrist was phenomenal, and so they always credit Manea with putting us over and winning for us.

He had his best day of the year against us today, of course

yeah I can't believe it... Wacha has been the most consistent guy for us the last 3 years, and since he made the All-Star team he's gotten bombed in his last two starts, smh

We got one miracle season out of Ragans in 2024 and made the playoffs, but basically the rest of his career he hasn't been good and he's always injured.  They say he may never be back or maybe back as a reliever, but not likely this year, and not likely with the Royals ever again

that sucks about Ragans...when I saw him pitch against us a couple of years ago I thought he was going to be something special
