  Dubcnn was a special guest at the a recent benefit for DJ Hideo at Club Highlands in Hollywood. We were able to speak to Jay Rock and DJ Warrior about their upcoming projects. For those that don't know DJ Hideo a respected West Coast and LA DJ has for the past year been battling cancer. Dubcnn: What’s up y’all it’s Jose with Dubcnn I’m here with Jay Rock. What’s up man?

Jay Rock: You already know out here showin’ love. We couldn’t really hear in the inside so we had to step outside here and do it. But it’s live and we doin’ what we do. I just came out here to show my love doin’ what I do. Keepin’ it West Coast all day everyday.

Dubcnn: Tell us about the benefit. This is a charity event. Tell everyone what the event’s for and who’s it for.

Jay Rock: Showin’ love to DJ Hideo. He did his thing man. That’s what it’s about showin’ love and bringin’ people together, Black, Brown, Hispanic, Asian. That’s what it’s all about showin’ love.

Dubcnn: What’s up with you. We know you’re getting ready to drop your debut album, what’s up with that?

Jay Rock: You already know I got a lot of things poppin’, just did the thirty day takeover, I got the mixtape comin’, a mixtape with DVD and videos. I’m doing this 6 song EP called “Almost Home”, don’t forget that. I got a mini movie with that too. Then I’m gonna drop the album Follow Me Home, it’s gonna be really big so be on the lookout we comin’ real hard.
