DUBCNN PRESENTS : Tha Block DVD Magazine Release (Contest)

Dubcnn has lined up yet another exclusive contest. We have lined up with Tha Block DVD Magazine to celebrate the deal they recently signed to take the quarterly urban publication from local to national via distribution through MVD (Music, Video, Distribution). The ‘finished goods deal’ includes the re-release of volumes 1, 2 and 3 and will see the DVD in national chains including, FYE's, The Wherehouse, Dimples, Best Buy, Suncoast, Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Fry’s.

The magazine's founder, Flawless [read dubcnn's interview with him in October 2002], an artist himself, recognized the lack of West coast representation in magazines and on music charts, but he
also knew some of the best emcee’s in the game were from the streets of Southern California so he hit the block to chronicle urban living firsthand. With volume 1 boasting exclusive interviews from the likes of Jayo Felony, Rass Kass, Stat Quo, a live performance from Psycho Realm as well as some of the hottest new music videos, the DVD sold an impressive 5000 units through word of mouth. Volumes 2 and 3 followed suit with exclusive footage including:Crooked I, DJ Muggs, Lil Eazy E, Sly Boogy, DJ Warrior, Phame, Cecilia Valencia, UFC's Tito Ortiz, MAGIC Convention Coverage, Lil Rob Live Performance & Interview (vol 3.)
