--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dubcnn: How did you guys get started in the rap game?

Just from lovin it, working at it Puba had previously recorded with a group called "Masters of Ceremony" so me and Sadat got together with him and did an album....

Dubcnn: What would you say is the key factor that have kept yall in the game for so long?

Just being real to ourselves and sticking by our guns and never changing up. Keep coming with quality music.

Dubcnn: What album is your favourite out of all the ones yall recorded?

Wow Me personally it might be "In God We Trust". That was around the time when Grand Puba left and everybody where like they can't do it without Puba but we proved them wrong.

Dubcnn: I noticed you didn't have any outside production on your latest album howcome?

We just went with the foundation, on our first album we didn't really have any outside production either.
That's not always the answer not always the key to bring outside producers because the beat gotto fit the personality and most producers just care about their beats and not about the artists.

Dubcnn: What projects are you currently working on?

Right now I'm working on my first solo album titled "5 Procent".

Dubcnn: How many tracks have you recorded so far?

Umm I'd say about 15.

Dubcnn: Do you think beefing with other rap artists is a good way of promoting an album?

I'd say it's a good way but I don't think it's the right way.
It's a good way to get people to talk about you .. everybody's attracted to negativity.

Dubcnn: Whats a typical day like for yall?

I mean im with my kids, Im a family man.

Dubcnn: Do ya'll plan on putting out a DVD about the group?

It's possible I haven't really thought about it though.

Dubcnn: What do you think gone be different about this Brooklyn Festival compared to all the other festivals this summer?

Well this ones Free to the people you know what I mean so you got a chance to give back to the people know what I mean?

Dubcnn: What do you think of artists like Paris, Common, Dead Prez, and Immortal Technique?

I think it's great their carrying on that form of music.

Dubcnn: What tips do you have for up and coming emcees?

Be creative, be yourself don't try to be another rapper. Find out who you are, find out what your talent is.

Dubcnn: What would you say todays hiphop music is missing?

Intelligence, Creativety......

Dubcnn: Dam I could barely hear you bro?

I'm sorry about that.

Dubcnn: Do you still keep in touch with Kool Keith?

Oh man I haven't seen keith in a long time!

Dubcnn: What do you think of Bush being re-elected?

You know not good wasn't good you know what I mean but what could you do about it they say you can vote but that's a ??? too.

Dubcnn: Any last words for the fans?

Don't give up thanks for supporting me and Lookout for my new album coming later this year called "5 Procent" by Lord Jamal and that's what it is.
