Down By Law, that comes right from Down big dog, after my name you know?
Because you gotta be Down By Law in order to fuck wit Down! And I know a
motherfucker like Kokane is down wit Down, so I'm puttin' out his new record
and it's comin' out early next year, in February! It's called "It's Kokane Not
Lemon-Head" and we bringing the Brown & Black together dog, with the Raza and
all the negros, and making this shit crack hard homie! It's time to make some
money, and we can do it together you know? We run the whole fuckin' westcoast
gangsta shit out here, all of the Ese's been puttin' in work for so long, you
know what I mean? Now Down is the next in line!
dubcnn.com: Sounds good! Tell about your music..
Well you know I released my album California Cowboys on my own independent
with a gang of fuckin' westcoast, the most gangsterous features! I know
everybody out here in the West Coast heard it already, I got it bangin! Snoop
Dogg, MC Eiht, Eastsidaz Goldie Loc & Tray Deee, Daz Dillinger, Bad Azz, Suga
Free, MC Ren, Kokane, Sen Dogg, Kam, everybody showed Down love you know?
dubcnn.com: Who did the production on the record?
Oh the production dog, I got my in house producer Blanco on there, then B-Real
from Cypress Hill he's producing now so he showed us some love and gave us a
gangster ass track for all my muthafuckas who wanna go back home but they
can't, and also Damion Young, Damizza my boy Damizza showed the homie love and
gave me a bangin' ass track wit me & Kokane and Shade Sheist, it's some
gangsta shit. And also my homie Fingerz from the 909, he did a grip of shit on
my album!
dubcnn.com: Sounds good! What can we expect from Down in future?
Right now dog, I'm workin' on my all spanish album homie! I go by the name of
Kilo, Down changes his name to Kilo, just goin' on tour in Mexican to grab
some more chips, you know what I mean? Cause there's alot more places that my
language can take me dog, it's not just right here in the united states, you
know? I got two languages so I gotta take advantage of it and I'm offerin' an
all spanish album! I also got Kokane singin' spanish homie! The Mexican
Parliament!
dubcnn.com: Is that right?
Yeah big dog it's fuckin gangster!
dubcnn.com: Tell us a little bit more about the whole black & brown united
thing..
Man that's something that.. we've been going to war for so long already homie,
and the fuckin' music is like so universal that that shit is bringin' us
together really, not only that, but on top of that we gone make some money
together homie! And that's a lovely thing, because without money, ain't nobody
gonna eat! Everybody gonna be broke in the hood slangin' dope and doin' all
the shit, and that shit ain't gone work wit Down or Kilo homie, or Kokane! We
need to get this shit crackin' homie, gangbang when we gotta gang bang only!
