Yo man this ya boy Guerilla Black, representin' Compton. I got L.A. up in the house, we representin' right now! On my album, I got Mario, Nate Dogg, Jazze Pha, and of course we shootin' the video with Beanie Man right now, you can see all the lights and shit behind you. It's all love! I'm up in here with my family baby, we ain't just flew up we grew up homeboy! That's what's real man. Catch the album, Red Spyda producin' on it, Carlos Broady producin' on it, Roy Hamilton producin' on it, Fredwreck producin' on it.
Right now we got the Hearts Of Fire mixtape in the streets. For everybody who got the Hood Affiliated, we back, part 2, reloaded, our hearts is on fire right now. Check it out, real real swift on that, we got Feli Fel doin' mad interviews on this jumpoff, we got about 29 jumpoffs on here, including of course, the beanie man jumpoff.

dubcnn.com: How did you get signed to Virgin?

Man you know what, it was a blessing. At the end of the day, man, we didn't come to the game, the game came to us man. I did 3 songs, and the 3 songs man... I was workin' a regular job, a 9 to 5 like everybody else out there, and we was hustlin', keepin' it gangsta, and next thing you know a whole bunch of companies started callin' me and Virgin was talkin' the best so we went with Virgin.

dubcnn.com: You probably heard this before, but what do you think of the Biggie comparisons?

You know what man, everybody gonna compare me to BIG, at the end of the day they see a husky dude, they see me deep voice, but I want people to know man, I'm not here to take away from Big nor Pac man, I want people to know that this is B-L-A-C-K, this is COmpton in the house. Guerilla Black! But you know, it's so many comparisons in the Game right now, alotta people say 50 sounds like Pac. Alotta people can say that DMX sound like Pac, Ja Rule sound like Pac. Fabolous sounds like Mase, Loon sounds like Mase. Or Shyne sound like Big. So I guess it's more credible to see a dark brother of my complexion with a heavy voice. Off top, he sound like Big. But at the end of the day, I'm here to pay tribute to all of the forefathers, BIG, Tupac, in this genre of music, they were our Malcoms and Martins. Big ups! I want people to know that this is West Coast, West Coast music, and we'll definitely be back in a real strong way.

dubcnn.com: How did you hook up with Beanie Man?

Beanie Man, it's a real crazy thing, the song was just supposed to be an album cut, but we sent the joint out to Kingston, and once it got out to Kingston, Beanie Man laced us up with so much love on the joint, and next thing you know it came back to us and it was so fire! So you know, the label was lovin' it like crazy, it got leaked, and most of the East Coast started playin' the record before the West Coast had jumped on it! Shoutouts to everybody out on the EastCoast, everybody in the Bronx, Harlem, everybody up there, Queens, I got folks out there. They comin, they real out there. It's love.

dubcnn.com: It's been while since a West Coast artist shined on a mainstream level. Do you think you have what it takes?

You know what man? Alotta things man at the end of the day we hope for the best, and pray for everything to happen. We look to god man, to bless our situations. We gone keep workinn and grinding, doing shows, I'm coming to a town near you! I just did this tour, L.A., Memphis, Houston, Dallas, New Orleans, Jacksonville, Florida, St. Louis, Chicago, and I'm back in L.A., heading back out to Detroit, Cincinati, Atlanta. I'm coming real soon! I'm bringing Compton! We gone make it hot!

dubcnn.com: How has the reception been out of town?

Oh it's alot of love man. It's alot of love. Cats down south they were supporting us way before they thing popped of, same thing with the MidWest. So it's a beautiful thing, when they see us representin' that West Coast, they show us alot of love down there. And I got alot of love for alot of Dirty South artists, of course, David Banner, Lil Jon, Ying Yang, they keepin' it real in a real way, it's a beautiful thing.
