Dubcnn: Shit I ain't even gotta ask you no question, you saying everything by yourself.

MacShawn100: Well you know what it is, it's on iTunes right now and at the same time you can
log on and hear that new Dogg Pound & Mac Shawn "Smellin' Like Brand New Money". The video to "And U Do Know That" is out now, BET, MTV, we're handling business right now. Real grown about it, grown n-ggas doing grown thangs. Shouts out to all the rappers out there across the world, if you doin' your Hip-Hop thang, keep doing your music. Keep God first and the rest is gonna lay on you man. You feel me? For real, for real.

Daz: And you can get these Dogg Pound T-Shirts at wedawest.com, my homie Dah Dah is distributing my shit. Dogg Pound Clothing, that's my company, distributed by We Da West, you bitch you.

MacShawn100: You dig?!

Dubcnn: Mac, when I talked to Snoop a few weeks ago, I told him we gotta get it in for a new interview and he was like "Man you know who you gotta interview too? Mac Shawn!" So that's what we're doing right now. How did you hook back up with the Dogg to put this together?

MacShawn100: Well for those of ya'll that don't know, me and Snoop and Daz is like cousins we've been doing this shit almost 20 years. This ain't some shit that just started yesterday or last year or something, we've been doing this man. I had the album done, Daz came up to the Bay and heard that new album. That's when we did "Party Don't Stop" which came out as a single. That was one of the first ones we released as a warm up, Daz shot the video, we filmed in Oakland, Vallejo, Richmond, Frisco, everywhere.

Then he took the album down and when Snoop heard the thang, he said "Daz, we've got to have Mac Shawn right here, right now. So the next thing I know, Daz called me and said "Mac Arthur, looking at my Gucci it's bout that time! Get to New York right now, the plane ticket is waiting on you!"

Daz: Juelz Santana's birthday!

MacShawn100: Yessir. So since then, it's been logged on and blogged on. And it is D.P.G./Doggystyle/Capitol/EMI. It's the movement.

Dubcnn: For those who might not be familiar with you, let us know how you came up and how you got into the game.

MacShawn100: Well I'm originally a member of The Click family, which is E-40, B-Legit, D-Shot (and Suga T) you know what I mean? I'm one of the founders of that Sick Wit It machine, I helped build that thang to what it is today, from the ground up. It's a real V-town thang, we're all cousins, Mac Shawn, Lil Bruce, Celly Cel, The Mossie, the Funk Mobb. I've been doing this for a long time on the independent scene, we're real regional. That's what time it is, I done did a lot of music, google it all that shit is gonna come up, that first platinum album I was on, "In A Major Way". That's when we had to deal with Jive.

Dubcnn: You've had a few compilations out.

MacShawn100: Yeah I've had a few compilations out, I put out a solo album in 1996, called
"World Wide Bosses & Playas", me and Daz had that "Money" track on there at the time. It was a good thang, I put it out through City Hall at the time. Then a few years later I put out the Mac Shawn Presents Worldwide Bosses & Playas through Bayside. I was the first n-gga with the deal at Bayside.

Dubcnn: How did you end up on Death Row later on?

MacShawn100: Oh I ended up on Death Row Records when I got back on the independent shit.
I came out to L.A., Daz was working on my solo album and I was f-ckin' with my partner Trap in Texas, shout out to Trap. Me and Trap was doing 50/50 on the project, getting money and spending money. Trap started doing his thang so I did my thang and while I was living out there with Daz, Daz was going to see the n-gga Suge in the pen every weekend. On one evening Daz came out and said "Mac when I told that n-gga I got Mac Arthur out here doing his thang with me, the n-gga said Daz, let's sign him to Death Row and give him a chunk of money and we do a few projects!" That's what it was. And you do know that! Shouts out to Suge for paying that dough!

Daz: You bitch!

Dubcnn: You had a song called "It's Going Down" with you and Daz and it had Tray Deee on it originally.

MacShawn100: Yeah it was me Daz Tray Deee and Tha Realest!

Daz: No it was just us and Tray Deee at first.

Dubcnn: But then they removed Tray Deee and added Tha Realest?

Daz: Yeah cause Tray Deee tripped out on them and pulled guns on everybody and said "f-ck you Suge, give me my money!"

MacShawn100: But Tray Deee was still on the song, he was on the hook! "You can't stop us baby!" Then I had "I Thought You Knew" with me, E-40 and Daz. Then we did the "Too Gangsta 4 Radio", then I had a track on "Dogg Pound 2002" so we put out a couple of records over there. I never put out a solo album over there but somehow down the line they took a bunch of my songs and put them on the internet. I think it was some corporate business or something, you dig?

Dubcnn: So the new project is called "Tha Bigg Fish"?

MacShawn100: The new MacShawn100 album is called "Tha Bigg Fish". It's self explanatory. You know what the big fish is. We sending out the singles first, which is "And You Do Know That", then we're gonna hit them with "So Fly, So Wet" and then we're gonna hit them with "You Hear Me?" Then we're dropping the album. Right now we're on tour putting in work, doing radio promo runs, city to city, state to state, from the spoon to the womb. From the rooter to the tutor, that game I'm getting gouda.

Dubcnn: And you do know that. So what can people expect from the album was as far as guest appearances?

MacShawn100: On my album I keep it brief cause I really don't need nobody. I'm a game spitter man. One thing about me is I've always been a leader. Whatever I lay, the people gone play. A lot of n-ggas got the game on them, but some of us got the game in us. And it's a big difference man. It really shows, ya hear me? So on this album you ain't gonna hear nobody but Daz, Kurupt, Snoop, E-40 and that's it man, as far as big wigs.

But shouts out to the all the rappers in the Bay Area, Rappin' 4-Tay, we love you. And you do know that! You got to be up under the umbrella, you got to be in the circle. We ain't really goin' out looking for new muthaf-ckas and all that old square shit mayne. We not looking for new friends. We're around here handling business man, show business! I put that show….

Daz: …in showbiz.. Shout out to all them haters out there. I see all them n-ggas on WorldStar, n-gga get you some teeth and then you can talk about me. or anybody in the click.

MacShawn100: One thing about it, we don't play no haters man, let the record reflect. We're real n-ggas and real n-ggas see one of you n-ggas , you already know what it is n-gga, i don't play no games, n-gga! All that rappin' and actin' tough on computers and all that shit n-gga! When I see a n-gga that I got a problem with, I'ma knock him down, at will, it ain't no secret! We don't play. Ask about it, man! From the pen to the streets!

Daz: Get some money man. The easiest way to put your record out is iTunes, so what is you doin'? I know what they gone do, they gone do a lil something, cause that's in ya'll neck of the woods. So when you come to our neck of the woods… "aooowwww", we'll bite ya!

MacShawn100: To all you rappers in the Hip-Hop scene - give thanks to God man, that you're able to be in the game.

Daz: And get you a fresh cut!

MacShawn100: Take care of your family first and the rest will fall up under you man. Keep black jesus first in your life! Believe that. Why you think I look so good and stay so fly? You think it's just me? Come one now, I'm one of God's favorites you clown! And till you squares get it right, you're just gonna be like 7up, never have it never will! Ya dig? For real, for real.

Daz: Tell them what we on right now!

MacShawn100: Power Delight, executive branch. And we get the executive branch from the house of branch.

Daz: Right here on dubcnn.

MacShawn100: On dubcnn. MacShawn100 given' it to ya'll again with my cousin Daz Dilly. Shouts out to the Bay, shouts out to L.A., Sacramento, the whole California coast. East Coast, Down South, ya'll stay movin' and groovin'! Show up tough. And don't ask me, ask who?

Daz: The biaaaatch...
