Yeah, no doubt.
Dubcnn: So what’s goin’ on man? What you doin’ in San
Diego, what were doing you here in So Cal?
I come out here to see my family member, Miz. We did a couple
things. T.I., Xzibit had a concert the other night, I flew in to say hi,
that’s it. I said hi and you know. And ever since then it’s been a
whirlwind man. San Diego is one of the most slept on cities in the US
right now. It’s definitely a lot of talent out here. Fantasy right
here, I don’t know if you can pan the camera.
Fantasy: That’s right.
We just met and everything but she get’s busy on the mic, busy on
the microphone. Kick a rhyme for them.
Fantasy: You know I’m untouchable unbreakable /everywhere I go people
say I’m sensational/ I put the P in pizazz lady of so much class/ bring
these niggas to they knees while I’m countin’ my cash/Gots’ta get mine,
never been a crime to be a pretty ass chick/ down to blow a nigga’s mind
and shine only kiss when I’m wined and dined/don’t get involved with the
weak, gots’ta keep it street.
Dubcnn:
Sick flow.
Dubcnn: What you been up to other than music? I heard you were in a
movie, tell us about that.
Yeah the movie’s called “A Day in the Life”. It’s coming out on Lionsgate Films. Of course at the end of the movie I get killed, but hey
man, it was a good movie. Shout out to Stick Fingaz, Omar Epps, Faizon
Love, everybody man. It was a great one, it’s going down in history.
Dubcnn: You lookin’ to get into acting or you just doin’ it for fun?
I mean shoot man, you know it’s like acting is not my passion, I
just want everybody to buy my album, May 5th the new album come out,
it’s called “Control Freek”. It’s killa. Really my first love is music,
but if they knock on the door I’m not gonna not answer the motherfucker.
We’ll see.
I just got back from Europe, I just did 19 cities. I went from
Munich to this and that. I don’t think there’s no better view than this
thing right here. That’s the whole coast right there. We in California
right now. Just take a peek right there, you might have to put the
camera up. Take a glance at that right there, it don’t get no prettier
than that. See that, that’s how we do it, we West Coastin’ it. Alright
that’s enough of that man, West Coast overdose. My name is Tash, we got
Fantasy, we got Miz, we got Jack we got everybody in the house right
now. I just want y’all to support my thing, Cinco de Mayo man, it’s
gonna be like when the ball drops in New York City and everything man.
It’s gonna be a beautiful day, everything is here for a reason,
everything is perfect right now. So just support your boy Tash, the
artists comin’ out, Fantasy, everybody, Styliztik Jones, shout out to
Styliztik Jones, shout outs to B-Real, my cousin Xzibit, everybody out

Dubcnn: We just heard a couple tracks off your album. Who did the beats
on it? It sounded really good.
First and foremost we got J-Bing, we got Oh no, Ne got of course
E-Swift did the majority of it, he executive produced the album, you
know it’s on the way, you know we got The Troop. We got people that you
might not have heard of yet but very shortly they gon’ be household
names.
Dubcnn: You did a track with Ice-T, Black Ice. Tell us about that.
That’s with my man Black Silver. He just called me and basically
said come do the song. That’s it, ain’t no hell of a story. Ice-T is one
of my favorite rappers of all time. He’s just a cool person. We use to
sit in the car and everything. He the one that got me into the game. It
went like this. The chain of events and everything. It was Ice-T, then
he put King Tee on, then he put us on, then we put a couple other people
on, Xzibit, the Defari, Da Agony, it just went like this… I just always
study how Ice-T really gets down. That’s a smart intelligent dude, love
him to death.
Dubcnn: So you were thinking about dropping the album in early 2008, and
now it’s coming out a bit later. What caused the delay?
Who give a f-ck? It’s coming Cinco de Mayo 2009, it’s coming out.
The delay is bullshit ass people that don’t really live up to what they
say. I’ve been on three different labels in the last two years you know.
The bottom line is that Cinco de Mayo, May 5th I’m coming out so who
give a f-ck about that?
Dubcnn: Any guest appearances on the album?
Yeah, we got B-Real, shout out to B-Real, that’s my Doggy Dawg
right there. I just gave ‘all a snippet of what we doing and everything,
Cypress Hill we goin’ on tour and everything. Shout out to Lupe too,
should out to everybody man, Bobo, shout out to everybody with that camp
right there. Cypress Hill is one of the dopest groups on the West Coast
and they just show me so much love, we just takin’ it on the road man
you know. Shout out to J-Ro, shout out to J-Ro too, J-Ro from the
Alkaholics, he over there in Malmo, Sweden man, gettin’ busy.
Dubcnn: So what are you gonna do to tour? Where are you gonna hit, what
cities are you going to go to to support the album?
I’m trying to hit the whole world man. We just got back, I just
did a 17 city tour called the Check the Rhyme Tour. So if anybody’s
watching this go to YouTube and check out Check the Rhyme Tour with us,
the Beatnuts, Jeru the Damaga, Paris, everybody, Lords of the
Underground, everybody was on it. We got busy on them. We basically
trying to hit all the countries. You might just turn the corner and see
me anywhere. I might be in Japan tomorrow.
Dubcnn: That’s what’s up. So do you have any shout outs before we leave?
Yeah I’d like to shout out first and foremost God, first and
foremost. But on top of that shout to everybody that keep it real man.
Shout out to everybody that participated on my album. Shout out to
everybody man, just friends and family man. Snoop Dogg man thank you,
B-Real thank you, Xzibit thank you. Strong Arm Steady, Strong Arm Steady
comin’ now. The list is too long to shout out everybody individually,
but everybody that supported Tash through all these troubling times and
shit like that. I’m here, I’m ready. We drop Cinco de Mayo, May 5th,
that’s love right there.
Dubcnn: That’s what’s up. Well thanks for comin’ out chillin’ with us,
