Dubcnn: Dubcnn.com what’s up I’m here with Young Maestro on the set of his video for his upcoming single. Tell us about it.

Young Maestro: Upcoming single is called See Me Girl featuring the hot new artist TY$, y’all seen it from Toot It and Boot It with YG, Pusha Ink in the house. He produced the track, did the hook. I just did my beautiful verses to it. We at the set right now, by the jacuzzi with the lovely ladies, just chillin’ about to do this next scene. Gotta change clothes real quick, freshen up a lil’ bit. Doing it big this year, or next year. This single is gonna take me to the top “See Me Girl”.

Dubcnn: Tell us where you’re from and how you got started in this game.

Young Maestro: I can’t really say where I’m from, I guess I’ll say I’m from all around Los Angeles. I lived in Long Beach, I lived in Compton, Inglewood so I can’t say I’m really from one specific spot. I started as a producer when I was about ten years. Started getting better when I was twelve. My dad had a project he was working on and I produced the whole album. Then after that I started rappin’, been rappin’ for about three or four years now. That’s how it all began.

Dubcnn: So tell us about this track and the style. It’s very laid back.

Young Maestro: It’s laid back, that’s pretty much how I am. Laid back and chill. I don’t like to do too much, I still like to party but I just like to just chill. I’m not the hyper type. So if you see me just come up to me, I’m just gonna be like, “What it do.” It’s a laid back song, just like I am. That’s why I did it. If you listen to the lyrics it’s real chill and laid back. Lay down listen to it, or you can be in the club bouncin’ with it.

Dubcnn: What’s next in the video. What are they gonna shoot you doing?

Young Maestro: Right now we’re about to do the scene where the main girl is tappin’ me so she can get my attention. But I already seen her. I’m walking through a crowd but she’s tappin’ my shirt or something. That’s what the scene’s about, then we’re finally gonna talk. Instead of just me lookin’ at her, her lookin’ at me the whole time. That’s what this next scene is about. She’s gettin’ my attention finally.

Dubcnn: So you got the song coming out, you’re shooting a video, it’s a production. So tell everyone where they can check you out online.

Young Maestro: You can check me out at www.youngmaestro.com, you can check me out on facebook at youngmaestro, you can follow me on twitter at young maestro, download my mixtape for free at www.youngmaestro.com and you can look at all my videos on youtube by going to westcoastknockent. Chev: We go in. I’m really cocky and I can tell you that I’m tighter than a lot of niggas, he’s tighter than a lot of niggas. He’s tighter than a lot of people. And you can beg to differ, but we’ll prove you wrong.

Dubcnn: So you guys were doing your own thing before that?

D2: Basically me and him were working together and he was part of 319. I played Big Wy some of the songs. He liked it, told me to bring him in. Brought him in and that’s when we got together.

Chev: I was part of 319.

D2: We got a street record out on youtube under thesanctuary319. That’ s just our street record that we put out there for the people to get a little taste.

Daniel P: It’s called “Make Her Say”. It’s a sampled beat from The Karate Kid. It’s a little different flavor but that’s what we were going for.

D2: You can go look at that on youtube.

Chev: We got stuff, we got assignments.

Daniel P.: We call the studio a class. And we come with our ace game.
