 Kenny KingPin Drops "Get It Back" Video - By : Rud - February 29, 2012
 Kenny Kingpin formerly known as Poppa LQ was MIA from Dubcnn until late last year as he had been serving a 26 month sentence in the Federal Penitentiary. Then in October he was back with the Rubberband Ready Radio mixtape executively produced by Houston’s finest Scarface and hosted by East Coast Favorite DJ Whoo Kid.
Rubberband Ready Radio dropped for free and featured a healthy list of upcoming artists from his area including Cuzzy Capone, Stone Starr, Real Spit, JWest, Kym Cartel and more and when DJ Whoo Kid was recently asked about the project he stated; "As a DJ I’m not mad at what I see coming out of the left coast but what I hear from my man Kenny Kingpin I can vouch for and say my audience is gonna feel his truth and subscribe to that sound he’s got, they know when it’s real."
We dropped videos for his single Let The Street's Tell It - where he pays homage to a long list of street legends such as Freeway Ricky Ross, Big U, BMF, HarryO - as well as the Behind the Scenes footage from the upcoming Get It Back video.

.......................................................................................... Roach Releases "Trojmiejski Funk" LP - Stream & Buy - By : Rud - February 29, 2012
 Since late last year we've kept you up to date with Roach, the Tricity Funk Records MC who hails from Poland in the leadup to the release of his debut album; see Polish MC Roach Links With King T & Kokane For Single.
That update focused on the upcoming release of his album "Trojmiejski Funk" ("Tricity Funk" in English) which was to be entirely composed by SherlOck, an acclaimed Polish producer. In order to appeal to a global audience he had linked up with an array of Westcoast talent including legends King T and Kokane for the international single LA 2 Tricity which we dropped for stream and download.
Last month we were back with the follow up single Gangsta Funk featuring Knoc-Turn'Al and Dogg Master and announced the album was to drop soon.
Today we can report that "Trojmiejski Funk" is now available for stream - via YouTube - and to buy in hard copy or lossless digital downloads via his BandCamp Page

 Late last year Southern California MC Mic Moses followed up a string of appearances since 2007 - including Crooked I's "St. Valentine Day Bossacre" and Meech Wells releases The New West World Order Volume 2 and Volume 3 - with a new album entitled "Oh Ryan" available via iTunes.
Oh Ryan was the follow up to his 2010 project with C4mula called Back For Seconds featuring Stat Quo and super producers Soul Mechanix. Singles from that included Stand Tall and the Stat Quo collaboration Last Forever.
In 2011 leading up to the release of Oh Ryan Mic Moses also dropped the free download of his solo mixtape The Road Block on Dubcnn as well as another EP alongside Ariano and C4MULA entitled Orange Curtain Vol 1.
Having released Oh Ryan in November Mic Moses dropped the video for Die For Mine and then Move Back in quick succession.
Today Mic Moses is revisiting his 2010 Back For Seconds project with C4mula to release a video for the single Stand Tall. The video, which also features Nu3tron, can be watched below,

 DubCNN had the opportunity to catch up with the legend Too $hort just in time for the release of Short Dogg's 19th official studio album, "No TrespASSing", which is in stores and online today.
The album features the likes of Snoop Dogg, E-40, 50 Cent, Devin The Dude, Twista and Dom Kenendy; Short tells us a little bit about the making of the album and the story behind some of the collaborations on there.
Short also confirms his collaboration album with E-40, "The History Channel", for 2012, clears the air on his feud with Messy Marv and has a few words for the person who impersonated him on the fake Too Short & E-40 song that leaked a few months back.

 Having spent much of the last 12 months rehabilitating from four gunshot wounds suffered in the May of 2010, K-Boy has been back on Dubcnn regularly once again over the last 3 months.
The talented LA representer may have been delayed by the injury but is most definitely not letting the setback hamper his aims to release his album later this year. In 2011 he returned with a work ethic stronger than ever and has moved from under Glasses Malone's Blu Division/Division Music to form the We'On Music Group.
In our recent updates we have given you new music including the acclaimed By Any Means (Malcolm X) record alongside Kendrick Lamar and shortly afterwards the duo dropped the music video for the track.
In October K-Boy released another single and video via Dubcnn, this time over a Kuddie Fresh production featuring Nvis and MeMe, called Need Your Love - watch the video - and a little under two weeks ago K-Boy dropped off the Nvis and MeMe featured Lights On single, said to be from his "The Blue Light Special" LP which he hoped to release later this month.
Today we are back with good news and bad news. The bad news is that "The Blue Light Special" album has been delayed while he makes some adjustments to the final project. The good news is that he is filling the new music gap by teaming up with Ace and Conflict for a mixtape entitled "The Strip Club" which will be hosted/mixed by DJ Hed, DJ Mike Smoove, DJ Nez Nice, DJ Far & DJ Jay Byrd.
We have the first record to be unveiled from "The Strip Club" a solo cut produced by his in house producer Rick Hughes that is an anthem for "Secret Sundayz" the newest and hottest gentlemen's club in Los Angeles - listen below.

 In the middle of last year San Diego's own Young Sau was back on Dubcnn on the solo tip for the first time since he and XL Middleton had dropped the "There Goes The Neighborhood" album for which we did this Exclusive Interview with them both in August 20120.
In that May 2011 update we brought you two records, the first being the Raw Steele produced My Way from his then to be released "Actions Speak Louder Than Words" project and also a record off a planned collaboration project with Dubble O Beez of the Mary Jane Junkees [who you may remember from the Mistah FAB featured single Strutin' from June 2009].
That group name was Monkey Beezness and with plans for an album to be produced by Dave Moss, XL Middleton and Lyrikal Beats they released High Note as a sampler of what they were working on.
Today we are back for the first time in over six months with news that Monkey Beezness is still going ahead and in fact they have just sent us the first video from their upcoming release entitled "Sleep" - watch it below

It's only one more day until Too $hort drops his 19th solo album, "No TrespASSing", on February 28th and today continues his relentless music video release over the past few weeks.
In recent weeks alone $hort has been releasing back to back visuals to tracks off "No TrespASSing," first up was Money On The Floor with E-40, Hey with Silk-E, Double Header alongside Wallpaper, I Got Caught featuring Martin Luther and late last week dropped off Hog Ridin' alongside fellow legend and veteran Richie Rich.

 As we reminded you earlier this month it was June last year when we first we introduced you to the incredible new talent that is Azad Right - see; Azad Right "A Piece Of Mine" EP.
In that update we stated that "we see countless new artists and material passed to Dubcnn and every once in awhile someone bucks the trend of dissapointments and showcases an ability to put a genuinely interesting slant on the culture with an opportunity to influence the masses in a positive way," that stance hasn't changed and he's had a huge year since.
The Venice, CA artist - the son of a divorced-blind poet, classically trained pianist and violinist with a Bachelor’s degree of Iranian descent - dropped his first single last year on Dubcnn called Spiderwebs from his acclaimed six track debut EP A Piece Of Mine.
We then caught up with the man himself for an Exclusive Interview in September 2011 to learn a little more about him and understand his drive for success before dropped his full length project The Time Is Right for Free Download and via our Streaming Audio Players.
Since he dropped that 17 track release - which features appearances from Luna Angel, EQ, Jenilee, Sofia Enggren, The Bridge and Sinima over production from Jonathan Marquez, Professor O, David Dann - he has been riding an upward curve of success and today was back on Dubcnn earlier this month two two new singles entitled Better Days and Growing Apart as well as with this Interview on Billboard TMI.
Of course just because Spiderwebs in June was Dubcnn readers first taste of Azad Right doesnt mean thats where he began. Today is the 1 year anniversary of the release of the Spiderwebs Music Video and Azad dropped us a note to say; "This is the song that has got me to where I am at in my career. I've gone all over the United States gotten a chance to open up for artists like Kendrick Lamar, Phonte, 9th Wonder, Tinie Tempah, Redman and Method amongst others; I've taken meetings with every single major label and finally started making some money off of the music that I've created. And [so much of it] has to do with this song."
As a thank you to his fans and everyone who has supported him over the last 12 months we are re-dropping off the Spiderwebs Music Video and the Spiderwebs single as well as adding a link to download the instrumental for those who have been requesting!

 DubCNN wants to introduce you to rising Vancouver/Los Angeles artist Jay Worthy. Traveling back and forth between Canada and California, the young spitter is pushing his distinctive brand of lifestyle rap: GS350 interstate-driving, gliding airport to airport and cruising bikes on Venice Beach.
Jay Worthy moved to L.A. in 2004, where he landed a position as VP at the LA-based label RAM Inc., where he oversaw the company's clothing line, working sponsorships with pro-skateboarder Terry Kennedy and DJ ill Will among others.
Jay Worthy has shared stages with the likes of Waka Flocka, Bricksquad, Dogg Pound, The Grouch, Too $hort, Mistah Fab, Fashawn and notable others. He is currently wrapping up his new EP "Hood Politics", set for a April release. The project will feature WC, Spice 1, Roscoe and DJ Crazy Toones among others.

 Young Keno was an ever-present in the first half of 2011 on Dubcnn, from his April Appearance on the All NEW Dubcnn Radio Show, to his Real N!@@a Society Remix music video release featuring Joe Moses, I-20, Roccett, Mr. Smith & Marleik and directed by Dubcnn's own Jose HG.
Then in mid 2011 he dropped the single No Shirts and Tattoos with Jayare of Cali Swag District and C.T.E.'s own 211 and since has been working on his upcoming release "The Classroom."

 Demrick aka Young De had a huge 2011 dropping his acclaimed Neva LOOK Back! EP for free download on Dubcnn in August alongside Scoop DeVille. Records featured on Neva LOOK Back! EP included Ready To Go alongside Xzibit and Brevi as well as What's Good and the What's Good?! Remix featuring Brevi and Cliqou Nico. That led on to solo music over a Jim Jonsin & Danny Morris production for the single and video She's A Freak [watch the video] and since October he's also released the DJ Fingaz, Bunson and Beaker Beats produced Money & Weed as well as a music video directed by Michael Cerdeiros of OMNIVISION Multimedia inc.
Since then he's been touring heavily and while on the road with Xzibit in Australia dropped this Acapella Series Video.
Just this week we were back with a video of Young De dropping a FreeStyle at the Cypress Hill Smokeout Pre-Party and today we are following up with a new music video from his latest mixtape #HeadsUp - which we dropped earlier this year featuring Xzibit and Brevi over production from DJ Fingaz, Rikanatti, Jim Jonsin, 21, The Futuristiks and more.

 A couple of months ago, we introduced you to Waxxie, an up and coming hip-hop artist from the West Coast who also happens to be the son of one of hip-hop's most respected and legendary forefathers, N.W.A's MC Ren. In our past updates we brought you a record called My Krew which was said to feature on an upcoming mixtape to be titled "Sky Times" - that mixtape has now arrived!
"Sky Times" is the first mixtape from the young rapper, and with cuts like My Krew Waxxie is building a nice buzz for himself and is definitely an emcee to keep listening for!

 Last week marked a year since we introduced New L.A. Talent Alphabit] and across 2001 we have been keeping you up to date with the 22 year old SoCal emcee Alphabit, with his various releases.
Across last year we brought you, Home Of The Brave, Up Out My Face, Cheers and Take Off - the title track of his 18 track debut mixtape, he then released The TakeOff in full for free download on Dubcnn.
That project, which featured production from Tekk, MidNite, Young Genius, J and Rob, James Lewis and of course AlphaBit himself, was his first step in getting his buzz up and then in August he dropped the single Sun, Beach & Babes, a reworked version of Aaliyah's "Back & Forth" - produced by Ms Mello as well as music video for the record. A few weeks later we dropped off a new track called Running Game this time with R&Beast Rodney B and fellow SoCal emcee Gitem.
In our update last week we dropped the first new music from AlphaBit of 2012, the record Bomb Shit and today we are back with another new track entitiled "Trouble" featuring fellow LA up-and-comer K-Boy - check it below.

 It was way back in 2007 when we first introduced the Young Giantz, a duo consisting of Deuce Mac and Bigg Joe West then aged 22 and 20 respectively both of whom are sons of West Coast legend Playa Hamm.
In that first update we brought you the banging single Weeest! which featured Playa Hamm, then the next single Big Big Bizness in 2008 before dropping Truthfully Speak'n, Catch Da Fade, I'm a Dodger and U Can Get It during 2009, all hyping up their then to be released Gqcality mixtape which dropped in January 2010 hosted by DJ Battlecat.
The release of Gqcality also saw a video drop for the single Weeest and since then we've heard little from the brothers bar the late 2010 drop Paystyle Pt. 2.
 Interspersed with the duo's music we also sat down for this Exclusive Video Interview With The Young Giantz in Summer 2009 as well as dropping solo records from Bigg Joe West including a Weeest! Freestyle, Topless Freestyle and Joe On One.
Today we are back as after an 18 month hiatus with no new music on Dubcnn the Young Giantz are back with a bang with a new single from an upcoming album. Demrick aka Young De had a huge 2011 dropping his acclaimed Neva LOOK Back! EP for free download on Dubcnn in August alongside Scoop DeVille. Records featured on Neva LOOK Back! EP included Ready To Go alongside Xzibit and Brevi as well as What's Good and the What's Good?! Remix featuring Brevi and Cliqou Nico.
That led on to solo music over a Jim Jonsin & Danny Morris production for the single and video She's A Freak [watch the video] and since October he's also released the DJ Fingaz, Bunson and Beaker Beats produced Money & Weed as well as a music video directed by Michael Cerdeiros of OMNIVISION Multimedia inc.

 Watts representer Six Reasons continues his relentless grind of dropping new music week after week for much of the last 12 months.
As we've been reporting he is currently working on his latest mixtape "80's Baby" - the follow up to 2008's Pipe Dreams and last years DJ Skee presented Do Not Pass Go Do Not Collect $200. During 2011 Six Reasons released footage of him and The Game LIVE in Arizona at The Venue Scottsdale as well as dropping the video to his latest record Raindance featuring Too Short and a Behind The Scenes look of that shoot.
He followed that up with the video for Shotgun featuring Constantine before dropping the single Runnin' For President as well as a music video last month.

No One (Dae One & Noni Spitz were ever-present on Dubcnn during 2011 in the build up to the release of their long awaited album "The Substance" which dropped late last year and can be downloaded via The duos Bandcamp page.
During the year we gave you media from the duo including How It Iz as well as its Music Video, produced by Dae One, the remix to which is featured on the Clearance (Substance Abuse) Mixtape as well as the video for Sad But True with Mike Ant.
We've also gave you Kicks before following up with the fast-paced West Coast banger, featuring two special guests Jay Rock and Butch Cassidy called 3's Company.
Towards the end of last year Dae One & Noni Spitz dropped off a record called We That that appears on the soundtrack for their James Wade directed 5 Part comedy movie "Out On Bail" which dropped on YouTube in September, if you haven't watched it yet, check it here.
We are back today with news that the duo are ensuring 2012 is as prolific for new music as the last 12 months as they will release the "Midnight Selections EP" for digital download this Tuesday February 21st. We've been sent two singles from the EP to drop today, the first being "Spots and Tattoos" which leaked last week, and the second called "Intervention" - a record where Dae One shows the audience his singing capabilities over a production by AAYHASIS - listen/download them both below.

 Late last year Southern California MC Mic Moses followed up a string of appearances since 2007 - including Crooked I's "St. Valentine Day Bossacre" and Meech Wells releases The New West World Order Volume 2 and Volume 3 - with a new album entitled "Oh Ryan" available via iTunes.
Oh Ryan was the follow up to his 2010 project with C4mula called Back For Seconds featuring Stat Quo and super producers Soul Mechanix. Singles from that included Stand Tall and the Stat Quo collaboration Last Forever.
In 2011 leading up to the release of Oh Ryan Mic Moses also dropped the free download of his solo mixtape The Road Block on Dubcnn as well as another EP alongside Ariano and C4MULA entitled Orange Curtain Vol 1.
Having released Oh Ryan in November Mic Moses dropped the video for Die For Mine last month which was directed by Michael Navarrete and Bob Daff and shot on location at SkeeTV. Today he returns with the visual for the Chali Brown produced "Move Back" this time directed by Bob Daff and shot at Hurst Industriez - check it below.

 Matt Allenn first emerged on Dubcnn in 2009 with the DJ Ill Will & DJ Rockstar hosted project We Got The Juice Vol. 1 as part of The Juice County Allstars - a foursome consisting of M.A., Champ, Kali, & Buddy P.
Following that release Matt Allenn aka M.A. dropped the solo record Soldier with Hot Dolla and Topic and then Put My City On featuring Juice County Allstars member Champ and Tommy Vonjo with production from Anthem.
Both these singles were said to be from his upcoming debut solo LP "N 2 Deep" and in mid 2011 he dropped the video for Soldier.
Towards the end of the year he announced he planned to release a self-titled EP at the turn of 2012 called "Matt Allenn EP" and in the weeks that followed he dropped back to back singles on Dubcnn including Go Up featuring Kid Ink and Dominic and then 4 Quarters.
Today we are dropping off both the full "Matt Allenn EP" for free download as well as the video for "Grand Slam" which is produced by T.H.X and directed by James Curtis/GorillaFlix.

Today Murs and Guerilla Union have announced the complete list of confirmed performers set to appear at the seventh installment of the Paid Dues Festival.

Just in time for the release of the mixtape, dubcnn linked up with 2Eleven to get some info on the project:
"There's been a lot of growth since the last time I spoke with DubCNN. I'm setting new goals, and my career is taking off. I'm getting older, and I'm learning the game more. But don't get it twisted, it's CTE or nothing", he explains.
When asked about his collaboration with fellow CTE signee Freddie Gibbs, 2Eleven says: "When I got the beat from Purps, I was trying to give it a Bones Thugs feeling. Who better to get on a Mid-West sampled record, than the King of the Mid-West right now, Freddie Gibbs. It made the record bigger. I planned it, and had him in mind. It made sense."
2Eleven also made clear that even though former CTE artist Roccett has left the label, there is no bad blood between them: "Roccett thats my dude for life. I just spoke with him. That's my nigga til the end. It's deeper than rap. He's one of my friends no matter what."

 Dubcnn connected with Messy Marv aka The Boy Boy Young Mess for - believe it or not - our first ever interview. After causing lots turmoil and controversy last year due to his feud with Too $hort, Mess returns now on the musical tip with a throwback album titled "Da Real Frank Lukas Dat Neva Wore A Mink Coat".
Marv explains to us why he went back to the '93 Mess on this one and why he's going to stick to it for future projects as well. We also speak about him connecting more with his fans and involving them in his everyday life.
For those who don't know, Mess has one of the most loyal underground fan bases I've ever seen. We also get the latest on Mess' relationship with childhood friend San Quinn, in which both parties seem to have matured and express mutual respect for each other.
On a different note, Mess talks about being falsely accused by JT The Bigga Figga and other people publicly and sets the record straight as far as those accusations are concerned.

Late last year we noted the large number of Polish followers of the Dubcnn Facebook Page and reached out to thank them for their support and readership. Following that update we were contacted by the Tricity Funk Records Team from Poland about an up-and-coming MC who hails from Poland who is looking to release his debut album early in 2012, that contact led to us introducing 25 year old MC Roach; see Polish MC Roach Links With King T & Kokane For Single.
That update focused on the pending release of his album "Trojmiejski Funk" ("Tricity Funk" in English) which was to be entirely composed by SherlOck, an acclaimed Polish producer. In order to appeal to a global audience he had linked up with an array of Westcoast talent including legends King T and Kokane for the international single LA 2 Tricity which we dropped for stream and download.
Today we are back as we've been sent the follow up single, this time featuring Knoc-Turn'Al and Dogg Master called "Gangsta Funk." We asked Roach about the record and he told Dubcnn; "Working with Knoc went really well. He was down with the project and really liked the beat, so we did this track together. We [have] remained in a daily contact for quite some time, which was great. I remember he was adamant about the way his vocals should be mixed, to maintain the highest quality, so we learned a few things.
After getting the vocals from Knoc I've sent the track to Dogg Master who dropped a hook and a bridge. I was impressed by his recent works, so it's really cool that he decided to do this collabo, despite being busy with his own album.
It's an incredible experience for me and SherlOck to work with people who's music we grew up listening to, even if the work could be only remote at this point. Right now we're thinking of a way to make a video to this track. And the track itself is [turned out] great."

It's a year now since we introduced New L.A. Talent Alphabit] and ever since that update we've been keeping you up to date with the 22 year old SoCal emcee Alphabit, with his various releases.
Having dropped records including, Home Of The Brave, Up Out My Face, Cheers and Take Off - the title track of his 18 track debut mixtape, he then released The TakeOff in full for free download on Dubcnn.
That project, which featured production from Tekk, MidNite, Young Genius, J and Rob, James Lewis and of course AlphaBit himself, was his first step in getting his buzz up and then in August he dropped the single Sun, Beach & Babes, a reworked version of Aaliyah's "Back & Forth" - produced by Ms Mello as well as music video for the record. A few weeks later we dropped off a new track called Running Game this time with R&Beast Rodney B and fellow SoCal emcee Gitem.
Since then AlphaBit has been grinding hard but we've brought you no new music - until today. We've recently been sent a new buzz record to show he is taking 2012 as seriously as 2011 - checkout "Bomb Shit" below.

 Young Brown - an MC who had been missing from Dubcnn for some time - was back in the mix [see; Young Brown Is Back! Suga Free, WS Bugg & More ] with the first new music since his Damage Control project hosted by DJ Warrior and J Steez.
That release included music such as Right On! featuring the Pomona Pimp himself Suga Free as well as WestSide Bugg, the solo track Young, Gifted & Brown and its music video.
In August last year we dropped off the single City Slickers featuring G. Malone and PebRocks and hoped to bring you more before the close of the year.
 That didn't happen but now we know why as we've just been sent word that Young Brown and J Steez are working to complete their first official project together called "38 Special" which will also feature the likes of Suga Free, Butch Cassidy, G Malone, Nipsey Hussle, Knoc-Turn'Al, Shade Sheist, Bad Azz and many more.
We've been sent the first single "Blue Lil Pill" - which dropped this week for paid download on iTunes earlier this week - to drop for our readers to Stream.
The record features appearances from Suga Free, Butch Cassidy and Ms. Tiana over production from J Steez.

 A little over 3 months ago K-Boy was back on Dubcnn having spent much of the last 12 months rehabilitating from four gunshot wounds suffered in the May of 2010.
The talented LA representer may have been delayed by the injury but he is not letting it stop him coming back harder than ever building up his buzz to release an album later this year. In 2011 he returned with a work ethic stronger than ever and has moved from under Glasses Malone's Blu Division/Division Music to form the We'On Music Group.
In our last updates we brought you the acclaimed record By Any Means (Malcolm X) alongside Kendrick Lamar of Top Dawg Ent and shortly afterwards the duo dropped the music video for the track.
In October K-Boy released another single and video via Dubcnn, this time over a Kuddie Fresh production featuring Nvis and MeMe, called Need Your Love [watch the video]

Dot lays down a spaced out verse that sounds like he recorded it sometime between "Buried Alive" and "Blessed". I'm calling this a throw away, either way, we'll see what they will do with it. This features a few bars from Gunplay.
Next up on Kendrick's agenda is the Club Paradise tour with Drake and A$AP Rocky, which kicks off today in Miami.

 Dubcnn visitors should be familiar with up and coming rapper Dego by now, who released his "Starship" album last year, featuring Kokane, Clyde Carson, Silk-E, Allen Anthony among others.

 Today marks the 16th anniversary of 2Pac's "All Eyez On Me" and to celebrate this masterpiece, Georgia Anne Muldrow recorded a few remixes to give away for free. The tireless Inglewood singer linked up with Dubcnn to release the 4-track freEP, which includes "Letter 2 My Unborn Child", "Ghetto Gospel", "N*GGAS" and "Dear Mama".
"I understand the experience of being raised by a single mother very well" Georgia said about "Dear Mama". "I saw how many miracles our mom performed just for us to survive... I was thinking of that place where she dug from to stay strong: an introspective, focused place. the place where all the stresses cave in and silence remains".
"Pac's voice is very musical" Georgia continued, "so it's really there from the start as far as thinking musically. I just really let him take the lead!"

 WrongKind Records artist and protege of dubcnn favorite Mitchy Slick just hit us with his brand new mixtape "The Floss Tape", which we have available for you to download for free as dubcnn's "mixtape of the week".
Sean has been on Dubcnn countless times down the years most notably in 2008 with his mixtape "VVS" which was hosted by DJ JiJi Sweet featuring the singles Hood and Bossin' Up as well as appearances from Strong Arm Steady, 211 and Damani with production from Disko, Dollaboyz and Dubb Knox.
Last year he was back on Dubcnn with his appearance on the Wrongkind "Yellow Tape" album as well as a mixtape project together with OYG RedRum781 called 489ers arranged by DJ Qwesscoast.
A few weeks back, we released a preview track off "The Floss Tape" called "West Coast" featuring Mitchy Slick among others. Today you can download the full project below:

And it don't stop! Too $hort is gearing up for the release of his 19th (!) solo album, "No TrespASSing", on February 28th. Dubcnn caught up with the rap veteran a few days ago to get some insight on the record, look out for that interview to drop within the next few days.
Leading up to the album release, $hort will be releasing a slew of visuals to songs off his album. The first video was to the lead single "Money On The Floor" with E-40, the second one to "Hey" with Silk-E and the newest one, "Double Header".

 Some of you might already be familiar with the Scandinavian arm of dubcnn, which is spearheaded by staff member Yash, who has been a part of the team since 2004. Dubcnn Scandinavia lead to a dubcnn print magazine that was available in Sweden and Denmark for a while, as well as the Dubcnn Artist Agency, which had its office in Malmö.
Now, Yash has teamed up with Sweden based singer FJ to form the group Baby Gangstaz and their first single "South Sweden" featuring Baby Mike is currently buzzing not only in Europe but also making its way to the States. On their single, Yash and FJ reflect on the large amount of violence that's been going on in the city of Malmö, claiming 8 unsolved murders within the past 6 monhts.
The name Baby Gangstaz comes from them having a rough childhood and coming up from nothing as sons of imigrants, to becoming driven youngsters who won't take no for an answer.
The Baby Gangstaz are working on their debut mixtapes, featuring artists such as Chris Brown, Ray J, 40 Glocc (G-Unit), Tyga (Young Money), Knocturnal, Daz, Kokane, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Thug Life and many more. Production was provided by the likes of Ciscoe, E.B, Jelly Roll, Hurricane, E A Ski, 1500 or Nothin' and others.

 As we announced last week, Treacherous MC One-2 dropped his debut solo album, "Destiny", on Tuesday via Treacherous Records/EMPIRE Distribution on iTunes, Amazon and all digital retailers.
Across 2011 we kept you steadily updated on the project, which was originally supposed to be a double EP. During the year you had teaser records like the Hardcore (Remix) with Jayo Felony as well as music from the actual proejct, including In The Zone featuring Kobe and Half Man with Crooked I.
The album features Crooked I, Horse Shoe Gang, Jayo Felony, Knoc-Turn'al, Kobe, K-Young and more, all over production from Komplex. One-2 has also released four videos off the album. The latest one, "Check", came out yesterday, watch that one and the rest below:

 With last year's collaboration album with Ski Beatz, "Embedded", Locksmith once and for all solidified his position in Hip-Hop as one of the rawest lyricist to grace the microphone. To further establish himself in the game, he is gearing up for the release of his official solo album "Labyrinth", currently slated for a March 2012 release.

 If you're not familiar with Andre Nickatina's young protege, MUMBLS, his new single "Parachute," pulled from his forthcoming "Hella Novellas" mixtape, is a good place to start. The 22-year old Berkeley, California-bred rapper enjoys substance abuse almost as much as he enjoys the off-kilter story raps of Dana Dane and Ghostface Killah, and both of those influences shine through on "Parachute," a tale of sex, drugs, and mayhem.
MUMBLS wrote the song, he says, about a real-life run-in he had with a few salacious females. "They had an abundance of MDMA, which I adore, and they were quite generous," admits MUMBLS, who adds that the song's title was inspired by some innovative drug use that went down that evening.
"They were putting the powder into makeshift capsules made of paper towels and called it 'Parachuting.'" For the video, MUMBLS developed the concept on his own before teaming up with director Ben Griffin from Prime Zero. The clip, shot all in one take, is all about the comedown and recreates what would likely go down as the most entertaining day-after ever.
"I'm so selfishly hung over that nothing can pull me away from smoking my weed and sipping my brew," cracks MUMBLS. "Not even a boobtastic girl fight." And to get into character, let's face it, there's no better substitute than the real thing. "I just drank a gang of beer and smoked until I really didn't care or know what was going on," says MUMBLS. "I almost forgot we were even filming a video."

June last year was the first time we introduced you to the incredible new talent that is Azad Right - see; Azad Right "A Piece Of Mine" EP.
In that update we stated that "we see countless new artists and material passed to Dubcnn and every once in awhile someone bucks the trend of dissapointments and showcases an ability to put a genuinely interesting slant on the culture with an opportunity to influence the masses in a positive way," that stance hasn't changed and the months that have followed have been huge for Azad Right.
The Venice, CA artist - the son of a divorced-blind poet, classically trained pianist and violinist with a Bachelor’s degree of Iranian descent - dropped his first single last year on Dubcnn called Spiderwebs from his acclaimed six track debut EP A Piece Of Mine.
We then caught up with the man himself for an Exclusive Interview in September 2011 to learn a little more about him and understand his drive for success before dropped his full length project The Time Is Right for Free Download and via our Streaming Audio Players.
Since he dropped that 17 track release - which features appearances from Luna Angel, EQ, Jenilee, Sofia Enggren, The Bridge and Sinima over production from Jonathan Marquez, Professor O, David Dann - he has been riding an upward curve of success and today is back on Dubcnn with two new, recently released singles, as well as interview he just did with Billboard.com TMI!

 Hip-Hop’s best kept secret Nu Magik - who we first introduced last year - are a duo consisting of emcee Draz and producer Deuce Maxwell who rarely record in the same time zone, with Draz residing in Chicago and Deuce Maxwell in Southern California.
The two released their first combined effort called "The Vintage" in 2009 and Draztic discussed in his interview on Dubcnn in November 2010 and from which we dropped the single Summer Magik and its video.
The release was initially only available via iTunes before we dropped The Vintage in full for free download when they announced signing to emerging indie powerhouse HiPNOTT Records to release a planned follow up album called "V2."
After a hiatus Nu MAGIK returned to Dubcnn in February with the news that HiPNOTT Records will re-release their 2009 debut album The Vintage as a precursor to the duo's upcoming HiPNOTT debut, "V2" which is due early 2012.
The release of The Vintage was to allow the project to drop in physical format as well as to include two bonus remixes produced by UK producers Jazz Spastiks. In that same update we dropped off the single A Song for You featuring JusBrea of Deep Rooted and today we are back with one of the aforementioned Jazz Spastiks remixes for the record "Much Too Late."

 It's been over six months since we last hit you with new music from Orange County MC J. King. The artist - who first appeared in 2009 with singles including All Ive Ever Known with Crooked I, Money Motivated with Sav Sinatra and the J Steez produced Get To My Head alongside Kali - has been streadily releasing new music since late December 2010.
In late 2012 he dropped On The Grind featuring Glasses Malone, Ariano & Medusa over another J Steez production as well as We Hustle that featured Adriano & C4mula.
That material was soon followed up with the single Back On The Atlas produced by Soul Mechanix and featuring cuts by LD of Technicali Sound and within weeks a video for Back On The Atlas was also released.
All that new music was building up to his "Next To Bat" release which was due later in 2011 however the release slipped and is now due within the next couple of months and today we are back as a new video has recently been put out for a single called "I'm On It featuring P. Dot over another J Steez production - watch it below.

 We have some terrible news to share today as 25-year-old rising talent Alori Joh has passed away. The Carson based singer was best known for her extensive work with the Top Dawg camp on most of their projects, most notably Kendrick Lamar's "HiiiPower".
We at Dubcnn send our condolences, thoughts, and prayers out to the family & friends of Alori Joh.
We'll leave you with the visual for "HiiiPower" below. I remember *knowing* how her career was about to take off after seeing this for the first time. Truly an amazing talent, gone way too soon.

 Since announcing his partnership with DJ Skee last week, Nipsey Hussle returned with a video off of his upcoming collaboration album with Blanco.
We extensively introduced you to Bay Area spitter Blanco last year, who released his star-studded solo project "American Psycho" and dropped a couple of great videos in the process.
Their collabo effort, which will be released on April 17th, is called "Raw" and was entirely produced by Spanish production crew Cookin' Soul, who have blessed some of Hip-Hop's best with their production.
To get the buzz going, the first video off the album was released recently, featuring YG. The throwback West Coast beat already let's you know what time it is, make sure to check out "L.A. Confidential" below:
