J. Staxxx New Single "Old School" (MP3 Audio) - October 31, 2005 By : Adon
At Toronto's 2004 Flow 93.5FM Urban FlowCase Finals, J. Staxxx had hundreds of spectators hollering with their hands in the air much like hip-hop parties of the early eighties. Among them, Canadian Idol Judge Farley Flex, who showed more enthusiasm for J. Staxxx than any Canadian Idol contestant. Such a reaction is very rare in the Toronto hip-hop scene, yet common for J. Staxxx.
He hasn’t been shot nine times nor is he negotiating a multi-million dollar deal from prison. J. Staxxx is creating a buzz without gimmicks. Thousands of his independently released mixtapes circulate the streets, and so does word that he puts on an ncredible live show. Mixtape DJs and radio DJs alike have been supporting him. J. Staxxx’s recent interview on Project Bounce 89.5FM was one that has received more feedback than almost any other on the network. The public is definitely paying attention.
By his mid-teens, J. Staxxx had been influenced by the reality of Toronto’s infamous Jane Strip. He did his dirt – and learned. Rather than follow the path of many of his peers, he veered left. J. Staxxx is now a voice for the streets, writing lyrics that reflect his surroundings. He sheds light to what is happening in his neighborhood. He speaks to those outside looking in and to those inside looking out - acting as a bridge to two different worlds. His street knowledge, charisma, and talent make most of the man he is today. It also makes his music. Musicains aren’t his musical influence, life is.
Currently recording his first full-length album, J. Staxxx is ready for whatever comes his way. He’s been working hard. He knows he has to – and wants to. J. Staxxx has surrounded himself with people of the same work ethic. The as-yet untitled album features songs ranging from up-tempo radio and club hits to slow songs. It’s packed with the same charisma seen in J, Staxxx’s live performance, yet features soulful melodies worthy of his more reflective writing.
With the added support of one of Canada’s most promising independent hip-hop labels and a strong management team, J. Staxxx is sure to continue on the road to success.

G-Unit Live: Review + Pictures & Video Drops - October 26, 2005 By : Nima
The entire G-Unit crew has been touring across Europe for the past months. When I say the entire crew, I mean: 50 Cent, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, Olivia, Mobb Deep, 40 Glocc, M.O.P., Mase, Big Twin, Spider Loc, DJ Whoo Kid & Alchemist. Tony Yayo wasn't present due to his parole situation. I rolled to the show with the homie DJ S.T.A.T.I.C., and the fresh Infamous/G-Unit signee 40 Glocc took us in. I was surprised about the very good atmosphere inside the camp, everybody seemed to be getting along and in a good mood. In the backstage area, Havoc, Prodigy, Lil Fame, Alchemist, 40 Glocc and more were eating, the latest DJ Whoo Kid mixtape banging through the speakers. Everybody was getting ready for the show, getting dressed, and focused before entering the stage in Karlsruhe, Germany.
About 15,000 fans were waiting outside for 50 Cent and his crew to rock the house. Those who have seen G-Unit in concert before know that they're not necessarily known to be very good performers, but I was hoping for Mobb Deep & M.O.P to rip it. As always, 50 started with "What Up Gangsta!" and then went through his hits, from his first album as well as "The Massacre". Although he has improved his stage performance, I have to say for an artist of his caliber, he has little to no stage presence, and he does the same hand movement throughout his whole set. With Young Buck and Lloyd Banks, his hype men during his verses, often being louder than him, you start to wonder what the crowd is going crazy about. Mobb Deep get on stage after about half an hour and perform "Out Of Control" with 50, then do "Got It Twisted", "Shook Ones II" and "Quiet Storm". Afterwoods, Billy Danze & Lil Fame got on stage to do "Ante Up" and "Cold As Ice" and left. Throughout the one and a half hour performance, 50 also brought out Mase, who only did his verse off "Mo' Money Mo Problems" and exited the stage again. Olivia came out to perform "Candy Shop" aswell as her Jelly Roll-produced single "Twist It" with Lloyd Banks. Mobb Deep were the highlight to me, although Havoc did sound better on stage, while Prodigy was sometimes hard to hear. M.O.P. came with a lot of energy, too bad they only did two songs.
Roughly halfway through the show, Young Buck took the stage by himself for a chronic break, calling West Coast G-Unit artist Spider Loc to the front. Buck introduced Spider to Germany, as G-Units newest addition (although he was signed months prior to Mobb Deep, M.O.P. and Mase...) from the West Coast, and made the whole crowd put up their W's and yell out "Go Spider, Go Spider". Spider himself just chilled on stage, lit Buck's blunt and threw up his Dub's.
I can't forget to mention 50 Cent's shots at Game during the show neither. At some point he stopped the music and addressed the crowd. "If you got love for 50 Cent & the G-Unit, let me hear you say G-UNIIIT!", followed by everybody yelling "G-UNIT!". He continued his speech with "And if you don't got love for 50 Cent & the G-Unit, let me hear you say G-UNOOT!", followed by the crowd, alot of them obviously not realizing what 50 was saying, yelling out "G-UNOT!". I have to admit, the look on 50's face was priceless. As always, 50 added "Ok for all of those who yelled G-Unit, thank you for the support! For all those who yelled G-Unot, thank you too. Go pick up The Documentary, and make me rich! I make more money off Game's album than Game does! Haha! First me and Dre make money, before Game see's any money! So make me rich!". A woman in the front row screamed "Game is better than you!", which 50 laughed at and replied with "If Game was really better than me, he could do this..." and "In Da Club" started banging through the speakers, making the venue go crazy of course.
Overall, it was a pretty cool show, always good to see the M.O.B.B. and M.O.P., Young Buck is a good performer aswell. 50 has improved, but he still has a long way to go before he can be called a good performer. After the concert, we caught up with the G-Unit crew at the hotel and at the afterparty, got some pictures for ya'll, aswell as some exclusive video drops.
Check below for pictures and drops from Young Buck, 40 Glocc, Mobb Deep, M.O.P., Alchemist, DJ Whoo Kid, Spider Loc and more... Exclusive Pictures: 50 Cent & Young Buck On Stage Lil Fame (M.O.P.) Turn It Up For The Houston Astros - October 26, 2005 By : SGV
You'll hear the Sound Of Revenge all over Houston on November 22nd, but until then, all you'll hear is the crack of the bats at the Astrodome. Houston's pride and joy the Astro's are down three games to none against their American League counterparts from Chicago, the White Sox, in the 2005 World Series. In order to rally the troops, the Houston lyricist, Chamillionaire, remixed his lead single off of his up and coming-long awaited solo debut, just for the Houston Astros.
The Remix, "Turn It Up Astros," has been burning the airwaves down in H-Town. I'm sure Chamillion and the rest of the Houstonites are hoping it's enough to push their squad into four straight victories to win the World Series!

"Bad Lucc" Is Coming Your Way - October 26, 2005 By : Rud
Does that bother you? Well it should; as Bad Lucc in this case takes the form of Terence Harden, an artist who has evolved from the streets of Los Angeles and adopted the pseudonym Bad Lucc. Earlier this month some of you will have noticed the name Bad Lucc on the release we covered by NV, "Go Hard Or Go Home." Since then Watts MC Bad Lucc has been in touch to provide us with audio from his latest projects, which include his forthcoming solo album and the follow up to the group release The Westurn Union "Jackin 4 DJ's" which consisted of himself and Damani. That mixtape along with the new tracks are available for download below courtest of Bad Lucc. Firstly a little background on Bad Lucc;
It was the influence of his older sister that drew him towards hip-hop: "My sister wrote my first rap when I was 10 years old. I performed it at a get-together in front of family and friends and their reaction was like no other. I owe her my life" he reveals
From there Bad Lucc worked tirelessly to hone his writing skills and went on to write his first rap in 1995 after becoming intrigued by a couple of his closest friends as they performed in a battle at the high school lunch tables. "They were just so dope I had to get down", he proclaims. From there he took the route of battling competitors which gained him the attention and respect from various urban-driven record labels and famed artists such as Jadakiss and Swiss Beats. Bad Lucc has a signature style while maintaining the ability to transcend both audience and region. Bad Lucc states quite simply: "The streets made me. Now they have to listen. From the block to the boardroom."

We're back with more! As if the prior update wasn't enough, we got another one for ya! One of Hip Hop's elite Producers DJ Muggs and one of the most well respected emcees in the game, GZA come together and create Grandmasters. This heavily anticipated collaboration was released Today on Angeles Records. On paper alone, it created an astonishing buzz among those in the Hip-Hop world. The New York born, South Gate, California raised, DJ Muggs laid down his distinct dark-gloomy sound as the back drop for the GZA's lyrical tirades.
GZA and Muggs bring together a few of their Wu-Tang and Cypress Hill brethen, respectively, for guest spots on the album. Features include the Abbot himself, RZA, The Chef Raekwon, the underrated Masta Killa, the Mad Dog Sen Dog and Prodigal Sunn.
The first time these two collabed was back in 1997, on the first installment of the Soul Assassins albums. 8 years later, they've finally completed an album together. GZA and RZA team up for a tribute to Ol Dirty Bastard using they namesake of their old group, as a trio, as the name of the song: “All In Together Now.” Other stand out tracks include “General Principles,” “Advance Pawns,” and “Those That's Bout It.”
A little over a week ago, the RapTalk.net staff hit Live At The Op, which saw performances from Sick Symphonies to Twista in San Bernardino. They conducted a string of Interviews, including the Self Scientific interview that was posted earlier. They conduct this Muggs interview for DubCNN, as well. They talk about how he got started in the rap game, how Angeles Records got started, how the Grandmasters album came about and more.

Self Scientific Interview & Performance! - October 25, 2005 By : SGV
It's time for a Change and Chace Infinite and DJ Khalil aka Self Scientific are here to give it to us! The Los Angeles duo released their new album Change on their joint venture with the legendary DJ Muggs, Angeles Records. The label boasts an amazing line up consisting on Muggs, Self Scientific, the San Diego vet Mitchy Slick, Wu Tang Swordsman GZA and L.A.'s Mixtape King himself, DJ Warrior. But, let's not get too far off topic here!
I've had the pleasure of hearing Change and I was very satisfied. The album was entirely produced by Khalil with the only features, outside of hooks, being Planet Asia, Bun B and Kombo. Chace and Khalil continue to show their immense chemistry on every track.
If you enjoyed their first album The Self Science, Chace's Mixtape with Muggs Last Assassin, any of Khalil's Productions of Keith Murray, 50 Cent, G-Unit, Xzibit, Tony Yayo albums or the Strong Arm Steady Mixtapes, then you'll have no problem getting into this album.

Young Hootie Is The Prince Of The Bity - October 25, 2005 By : SGV
Mark Breezy and Black TK's Larceny Entertainment, as they put it is, "the Business of the New West." They hit us with Young Compton, the debut mixtape from Compton sensation, Young Hootie, for which he was featured as Unsigned Hype in The Source Magazine. Then, they premiered their own live PodCast Mixshow here on DubCNN.
You may also have caught Hootie on various Mixtapes from DJ Warrior and DJ Strong's West Coast Mixtape Kingz, DJ Whoo Kid's West Coast Resurrection, DJ Age's West Connectz, DJ Hustler's and The Bloc Runnaz, respectively. He appeared on The Relativez street banger “Soo Whoop Gangsta” off their album Money Respect Money album. And, earlier this month, the Larceny camp premiered the bangin’ street video for “On Bloodz” featuring El Dorado Red, Hooda John & Big Wy on WestCoast2K.net.
But now, the long awaited follow up to Young Hootie's first Mixtape is just around the corner. Prince Of The Bity is ready for the streets. As Pablo Fuentes, staff writer for XXL Magazine says: “Young Hootie has more substance and reality in his rhymes than most of today’s MC’s, who just rap about glamour and a life they have yet to live. Young Hootie gives you an open invitation to his life, which most rappers have difficulty doing.”
Releasing Prince of the Bity is the icing on the cake for Young Hootie, who is currently in talks with major labels to release his debut album Destroy & Rebuild. Now with his new street album, Young Hootie shows his growth as an artist and proves he is ready to be crowned “Prince of the Bity!!!”
Track Listing:
01. The Arrival (Skit) 02. Prince of the Bity 03. Put Ya Work In 04. I’m Young Hootie 05. Shit Don’t Stop 06. Get It Goin 07. OT Work feat. Jay Boy 08. Gunz Up 09. Set It Off 10. Haterz (Skit) 11. Shine 12. Pay A Fee 13. Celebration 14. Grand Larceny (Medley) 15. The Bizness Of The New West 16. Shit Gets Real feat. El Dorado Red 17. Shot On The 110 Fwy (Skit) 18. Stop, Cock, Pop & Roll 19. I Believe 20. Flamed Out feat. El Dorado Red 21. Move It ft. Hooda John 22. Roll Call 23. Game Never Ends 24. Mixtape Niggaz 25. Letter to my Brother (Part Deuce) Bonus Tracks: 26. No Love feat. Joe 27. All My Life
This Mixtape is to prove that Young Hootie is "The Prince of the Bity!" But that's not all, coming early 2006 Prince Of The B-Sides, which features exclusive freestyles, excerpts and unreleased tracks from Prince Of The Bity! We'll be back with some audio from this VERY soon.Discuss This Topic

Reggae/Dancehall Update: Ms. Triniti & E-Dee - October 24, 2005 By : Nima
I wanna introduce two artists to ya'll, that the Hip-Hop crowd might not be familiar with. I'm talking about Ms. Triniti, a Carribean Dancehall artist, and E-Dee, originally from Jamaica, living in Los Angeles for the last 4 years. They've been creating a large buzz in the Reggae/Dancehall scene, specially in Japan, where Ms. Triniti has been having alot of success.
Ms. Triniti has her album "Ragga Hop" in stores now, I have three preview tracks from the album for ya'll, one of them featuring Kojo, from The System, who I updated ya'll on a while ago. For more information on Triniti, and to order "Ragga Hop" online, check out her website mstriniti.com.
Ms. Triniti - Fa Da Love Of Da Dancehall Ms. Triniti - Hot Again (ft. E-Dee & Junior P) Ms. Triniti - Dangerous (ft. Kojo & E-Dee)
Now on to E-Dee. He moved to L.A. from Jamaica 4 years ago and has since been building a loyal underground following. He has performed on every major reggae festival to come to California. The list of aritsts he’s opened for reads like a who’s who list in Dancehall-Reggae music like Beanie Man, Sean Paul, Elephant Man, Lady Saw, Bouty Killer. He is featured on three songs on Ms. Triniti’s EMI-Toshiba’s top selling release that is still climbing the charts.
He is currently finishing up his album "JA 2 LA Di World". The single “R U Ready?” is in rotation at many radio stations. Again, I have three tracks for ya'll to check out. The song "Between The Sheets" uses the same sample as Biggie's "Big Poppa", they flipped it Reggae style, it's off the hook! Check out the music below:

Bleu Collar & CMA @ Temple Bar - Sunday - October 18, 2005 By : JustinL
This fall Los Angeles’ crowned hip hop duo Bleu Collar has released the Los Angeles Designer Music, Vol.1 mix tape for the unbeatable price of “Free-Ninety Nine.” Every first Friday of the month Bleu Collar packs the Little Temple (4519 Santa Monica Bl. in Silverlake) beyond capacity and gives a performance worth twenty times the 99-cents you pay at the door. Beginning Sunday, October 23rd Bleu Collar will have a second residency at the notable Temple Bar (1026 Wilshire Bl. @11th Street in Santa Monica).
Basik and Reese One are Bleu Collar, a Los Angeles duo with a classic sound unparalleled by any other hip-hop act. Compared to groups such as Outkast and UGK for their chemistry and contrasting rhyme styles, Bleu Collar runs a fine line between gritty underground lyricists and the mainstream circuit. "We’re not gangstas, but we aren’t backpackers, either," Basik says. "Bleu Collar represents what we believe is the majority of the world, the common man, but with our creative flare." Basik says, "Everyone raps and everyone puts out their own CD’s these days but, everyone can’t rock a show and have the line down the block like Bleu Collar!"
"Residencies are usually reserved for rock bands," Reese One says proudly. "Underground promoters wouldn’t book us because we’re not underground enough and big time promoters won’t book us because we’re too far under their radar, so we created our own scene." For all inquiries check out BlueCollar.com and make sure you download their free mixtape;

NV Of Los Angeles: "Go Hard or Go Home" - October 18, 2005 By : Rud
Another new westcoast act that many of you may not be familiar with is the group, NV. The duo consists of Absolute and Dolla, two young men who have grown up in L.A. and come together to form the group NV. Absolute speaks on the groups focus: ""The hip hop community is used to the norm. As a group, people feel like we should have a similar sound or flow but I think thats where n*ggas fail at. Its time for something fresh and new."
Regarding the name NV, Dolla revealed: "The name came with our experience. In school we were the flashy n*ggas that had what other n*ggas wanted but n*ggas know we are street niggas so they never came at us but it was obvious that the envy was there."
Initially the duo started out with their sights set on gaining money and fame however over a period of time maturity set in and the goals of the group changed: "I started rappin as a hobby. I met a producer back in high school and told him i rapped and he put me on. N*ggas in the hood were feelin it so I chose to pursue it and then brought Dolla on." to which Dolla replied, "I didnt rap at all but after we did our first show and we seen the reaction i fell in love with it. I saw it as a way to make money but me and Loot [Absolute] both realize its much bigger than that. We speak on what we've experienced and what we see which can be the same way a n*gga from my hood feels, a person from the sub-burbs or even someone in another country may be feeling. When you listen to Pac, Jay-Z, Game and 50 and see how their music reaches people who dont even speak your lanuage thats big. Its time for us to share our experiences with the world as well."
So with all the background on the group and it's goals laid down i know you will want to hear some product! NV currently have a compilation in the streets called Go Hard or Go Home which features production from Goldeneye, THX, J Classic, Ink, And Ric Rude. The CD has appearances from west coast emcees Badd Lucc, J-Do, down south artist and recent Warren G collaborator Frank Lee White as well as R&B features from new sensation Teray, Jasmine, and Alycia Bellamy. The compilation is also packaged with a dvd sampler from their upcoming "More Than Music" DVD. NV is also hosting "UnPlugged" a showcase for independent artists to perform and promote their music. It's All Trill Game With Warrior & Bun B - October 17, 2005 By : SGV
I told you about one, now it's time for another one!!! 6 Mixtapes in 2 months and Warrior has no plans of stopping!
After getting the whole damn West on one Mixtape Warrior hopped on the 10 East and headed for Port Arthur, Texas. He was able to link up with the South's hottest emcee right now, Bun B of the legendary duo U.G.K.. Together they created Cali Untouchable Radio Pt. 7: SouthWest Trill Edition.
With production from DJ Warrior's producer J Classic/Tha warriorz Bun Beeta laced up 3 Exclusive (and CRAZY) joints. And since DubCNN is the only real force on the West Coast, we were in the House when Bun was recording and brought back a couple of photos. DJ Warrior teams the Long Beach fire spitter Sinful, who laid a crazy verse in Spanish, and L.A.'s own Chace Infinite on the hook and a verse. There's a rumor that the "Southwest Trill" track on this mixtape/cd might be a joint off of Warrior's upcoming debut album on Angeles/Fontana/Univerlsal, which might dropped sometime in 2006 or early 2007.
Here's a couple pictures from the Studio set at DJ Khalil's studio in L.A.:
Sinful & DJ Warrior Bun B & DJ Warrior
You won't these flicks anywhere else! The Paparazzi websites will be mad, but fuck it! They're always mad! DubCNN Exclusive!!
This is a South West Connect thing, and as Warrior puts it, "I never wanted to be local, I get my name out at as many places I can. Life is too short to me to be local. I don't make music or make mixtapes just for one city, I have a fan base everywhere. At the end of the day it's all about the music, I don't care where you're from, can't stay in the box, that's for ignorant folks. Anyway enjoy the mixtape and get the Bun B's new album, Trill."
Wise words from Warrior. Speaking the real! The haters need to realize it's bigger than just Cali, there's fans of Hip Hop everywhere. To shut them out, is shutting yourself out, and that's just dumb business!!!
DJ Warrior and Bun B teamed up for this mixtape which turned out to be a classic Cali Untouchable Radio mix featuring new music exlusively found on this cd and no where else from Bun B. As well as all the classic hot cuts from today and back in the day, from Bun B and U.G.K. Officially stamped and hosted by Bun B of UGK/Rap-a-lot.
And, do not forget: Free Pimp C!!!!!! Here's the tracklisting with a bunch of Snippets courtesy of RapTalk.net and Cali Untouchable's. Also he's a larger version of the Cover

This month he's dropping 2 monster Mixtapes. One is the Long awaited West Coast Mixtape Kings series. Teaming up with his partner in crime DJ Strong and enlisting West Coast legends Julio G and Kam to host this Mixtape, which is loaded with nothing but exclusives and world premieres, by the way. On top of that it's dedicated to Justo, Mixtape Awards Founder; DJ Threat (R.I.P.), DJ Screw (R.I.P.), DJ Mixmaster Spade and other falled DJ's that are not around anymore. Their Legacy is here forever.
Not only are the freestyles and songs exclusive and/or world premiere's, there's Exclusive productions from DJ Warrior's producer J.Classic. Ice Cube Is Back With "Chrome & Paint" - October 17, 2005 By : Rud
After a long hiatus Ice Cube is back on your radio's. He returns with two tracks, "Chrome & Paint" which features fellow veteran and Westside Connection member WC and "A Lotta That" which features Snoop Dogg. Both records are currently getting spins on radio across L.A on Power 106. We have a radio rip of "Chrome & Paint" which features WC for your listening pleasure as i've had nothing but requests to hear it all week! With thanks to the dubcnn forums own, NeoSoul. Remember this is a Radio Rip, it's just so you can hear the new Ice Cube if you are not in the area!
Ice Cube - Chrome & Paint (Feat. WC)
In related news Ice Cube was in Las Vegas on October 9th shooting a video for this very track. He was in town to perform at the Lowrider Magazine 2005 Super Show at Cashman Field Center and utilised the Vegas backdrop. According to Matt Alvarez, Ice Cube's partner in his Cube Vision company, The Cashman show drew hundreds of lowered and chopped cars equipped with special hydraulics and adorned with murals and was the initial location for the shoot, the video was then expected to shift to the Fremont Street Experience for additional filming, requiring a shutdown of Casino Center Boulevard between Carson and Ogden streets. Three camera crews were expected to catch all the action, with Marcus Raboy, who directed Cube in the 2002 comedy "The Friday After Next," called the shots for the video, which should hit MTV, BET etc later in the month. (LV Review Journal)
Ice Cube has opted to call his new album "Laugh Now, Cry Later." More news and audio when we get it!Discuss This Topic

Krayzie Bone: "Too Raw For Retail" - October 14, 2005 By : Rud
BTNHBoard.com, the #1 Bone Thugs-N-Harmony online community, has worked alongside Krayzie Bone and Thugline to release an exclusive new mixtape aptly titled "Too Raw For Retail", a collection of fifteen never-before-heard songs featuring the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony founder. "Too Raw For Retail" finds Krayzie Bone and Thugline at their best on tracks such as the Neptunes-laced "Who's House", an interplotation of the Run-DMC classic "Run's House" while "I Can Make You" sees Krayzie Bone and West Coast legend Kokane over a beat by Snoop Dogg producer LT Hutton.
"I Get Around" is a classic Krayzie Bone solo, finding him effortlessley blending the rap and R&B vibe as only Bone Thugs-N-Harmony can do. R&B legend Ronald Isley gets down with Krayzie Bone on "Bringing Me Up", a track cut from his recent album "Gemini: Good vs. Evil" due to sample clearances, as is the case with the weed-anthem "Zonin'". On the track "Forever Bone Thug", Krayzie Bone unites with fellow Bone brother Wish Bone, who co-founded Thugline Records with Krayzie Bone in 1999. "Too Raw For Retail" features the roster of the label, whose artists include Keef G, K-Mont, Asu and P-Real.

Yes, you read and see right... Amil. The ex-First Female of The Roc has returned to the industry with a fury. The Baddest Bitch on the ones and twos, DJ SynCity, ran into Amil in the Bahamas and hit everyone off with these new tracks from the rapstress.
First up we got a deep introspective song entitled "Tears Of A Teenage Mother" where she spits:
"I Bet You'll Think Next Time Before You Have Unprotected Sex, Cuz It Ain't Easy Trying To Live Off Those Welfare Checks, What You Expect?"
Amil - Tears Of A Teenage Mother
This next track finds Amil and Lucy Diamonds talking about mansions, Bentleys, shopping sprees, and all that. Hence the song is called "Glamorous Life."

Kemo Tells Those Kind Of Stories - October 11, 2005 By : SGV
"Que ondas muchacho, ay vienes te miro, Si me traes bronca, me aloco de atiro, Me paro, te tumo, no es tu rumbo, Y con el lingo talvez te confudo"
Ya'll remember those opening bars to a verse from the classic "Tres Delinquentes." Possibly one of the most influential tracks for all West Coast Latinos in Hip Hop. Sadly, Delinquent Habits no longer carry the same line up they did back then. As most already know, Kemo The Blaxican has went solo. He put out Simple Plan, his first solo effort, about a year ago.
He's pushing a new project now. His 5 song EP Kind Of Stories. It's all new tracks written and produced by The Blaxican himself. Only one feature and that's from Pico Union's pride and joy, Sick Jacken of Sick Symphonies. Of course, we have a preview of it, courtesy of Kemo.
You won't see any other major Website rep Latinos like this, even if those other sites are packed with Latinos! You know your number 1 source for All Things HIP HOP.
Tracklist:
1. King Of Stories 2. Nobody Likes 3. No Que No 4. El Negocio feat. Sick Jacken 5. I Drink She Smokes
We got the title track for ya'll right here. The song starts off with an exerpt of the 1993 Robert Dinero directed A Bronx Tale. He uses some laid back keys and comes with rhymes like:
"...4 Blocks Down The Way, A Man Beats On His Wife, Now I Ain't Captain Save A Hoe, But Shit Like That Got To Go"
Download Kemo The Blaxican - Kind Of Stories
Next up we got a snippet of the song with Sick Jacken. This is a Spanish track, but even if you don't understand that language it's still hot.
Check it out: Kemo The Blaxican feat. Sick Jacken - El Negocio (Snippet)
