Who the hell was ______? What ever happened to _____?

I made this topic so we could discuss diferent rappers or even singers who either did one song, album, or had a guest appearance, and we never heard from em again....or the ones who we used to hear about but completely fell off the face of the earth.

I'll start.....

1. Daks - He had a song called Ridin High on The Wash SDTK, but I never heard anything else about him or from him. I donno where he was from or how he got a chance to be on The Wash, but his song was hot.

2. LAD - He had a song in 95 called "Ridin Low" and I actually had the album when it came out. It was all right for what it was back then, but sounds hella outdated now. They used to ALWAYS play Ridin low on Power 106 back then...it sounded like a 60s song and had somebody on the hook who sounded like The Temptations or somethin, sayin "I'm ridin low, with my girl, and gettin hiii-yi-yi-yi-yiiiiii". I never heard anything else from him or about him.

3. Domino - We all know about his old classics and his beef with Snoop. But the last I heard from him was like in 2001 when he tried to make some kind of comeback.

4. Paperboy - I remember this dude in 92 had a song called Paperboy and the diddy....I donno if the dude's name was Paperboy or if it was two dudes Paperboy and Diddy, or if the dance was the diddy....but they still play the song on KDay. The beat samples Doo wah ditty but has a diff tempo.

5. Silk-E-Fyne - Last I heard from her was on Snoop's Top Dogg album on #3 Trust me. I know she had that one hit Romeo and Juliet back in like 98.

6. Skee-Lo - We ALL used to hear "I wish I was a lil bit taller". He was one of those one-hit wonders like Ahmad who came at the perfect time in the West's golden era, and made a mark but was never really heard from again. I know he had a 2nd album and had a video I saw once on BET, he was at the mall and was sayin somethin about bein at the mall on the song.

7. Ox - He had a song on The Wash, and he sounded a lot like he coulda been in MOP or one of those rowdy east coast groups. I never heard anything else from him and didn't know who he was at the time.

yup, hes been doing that, he is on the wake up show a lot too, and he appeared on some Project Blowed tracks, even on the video for "give it here" for the good brothers compilation. hes hanging out in the cali underground i guess.

he released the album Domination in '04... it was an ok album... not anything near his earle day-classics tho...

Paperboy was signed to Ruthless, and i think he wrote alot for Eazy in the late days... Diddy was a pretty big hit i think... classic track imo. He gave out the album The Lover Never Dies about two years ago...had productions and features from i.e. Battlecat and Bad Azz..

his first album was pretty well-produced, Top Of The Stairs, Superman, Crenshaw and the remix of I Wish are great songs imo...

He's an artist on a label in NYC called Tru Criminal Records (50 used to be associated with this label at one time).  He did do some sick joints - check out the "Anti-Backpacker Campaign" record that they put out, which has like three of his songs.  I remember a while ago he was in talks for an Interscope deal, but I dunno if he ever got it or not.  Since he contributed to the "Bones" and "Rush Hour 2" STs, I haven't heard a whole lot from him.  But I agree he was pretty dope.  Check this out:
