It was okay to see it once, but I wouldn't go rent it again. Denzel's acting performances were on point as usual though...

i haven´t seen this movie but i´ll definently check it out coz almost all of the Denzel movies are above average. just saw Malcom X for the first time a couple of days ago and Denzel´s performance in it was outstanding. dunno why the fuck it took the academy so fucking long to hook him up with an Oscar.

Well for Malcolm X he lost to a very great Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman and for Hurricane it was Kevin Spacey in American Beauty. If you think about it it'd be more of a shock if Denzel did win. It all depends on who you're up against. In the last couple years we had Jamie Fox and Adrien Brody win early in their acting careers because of weak performances by the other nominees. No offence to those two but if Jamie was up against Scent of a Woman and Brody against Spacey for American Beauty, neither of the two would would an Oscar most likely.

Remember, the master Alfred Hitchcock has never won one eventhough he's been nominated 5 times.

I loved the movie. Of course Denzel was good in it, but it was all well done. There was no extraordinary parts, it was all just a very well done movie. I thought Eddie Griffen did a good job being funny without taking away from the seriousness of the movie.
