JD is not underrated, it just happens to be his time to shine. It was Lil Jon's time last year, and nobody is calling him the next Quincy Jones.

I wonder how Dre feels about all of JD's success though. Talking shit and now look at him lol.

Is it true that Luke beat up Dre in Atlanta?

Cause Big Hutch talks about it in Kokane's album

"Trying to kick it like you got stamina, wup that ass like Luke did in Atlanta. Oops did you slip, did you trip, did you run, did he have a gun, did you want some; nope. Here’s a bone you can choke; hit you ass with the Mafia Lok"

Wow, some people are WAY too close-minded!!!!!!!!!!!  Do I like JD as much as DRE?  no way.

But when you take into consideration what JD has done as a producer, both rap and more so R&B, its MAJOR.

Look what JD has done for Usher and MAriah on the last two cds, str8 crazy.  While JD is not at all innovative, he is great at biting styles and making hits.  His rap stuff is average, but overall as a producer you gotta give him props...............he is severely underrated and i don't blame him for feeling like it.

Does [JD] make hits? Yes. Does he make dope beats? For the most part, No. I never find myself going Wow that's a sick beat by JD.

Exactly how I feel.

As for Diddy I think I read somwhere that he was goin to be on Detox.

Would be shocked if Diddy was on Detox

Has anyone heard or got the following:

DJ KAY SLAY & CUTMASTER C - GET DOWN OR LAY DOWN 1 1/2

Intro
Freestyle- Jermaine Dupri (Dissin' Dr. Dre, Eminem & Timbaland)

So it seems that most of Dre's beefs are over/died down quite a bit

I wonder how Dre feels about all of JD's success though. Talking shit and now look at him lol.

lol

Luke had a track called "Fakin' Like Gangsters" on his debut solo album "I Got Shit On My Mind," which came out around 92. They had a skit before the song that dissed all of NWA, and the actual song sampled some shit from Niggaz4Life (but didn't mention anyone by name in the lyrics). Then "Dre Day" came out, and "Cowards in Compton" was in response to that.

I never knew why Dre and them had beef with Luke...what was that about? I figured it could have been related to the whole parental advisory and censorship in rap issue, just because NWA and 2 Live Crew were the two main groups who came out cussin and bein the most explicit.
Luke came hard at nwa.calling them niggaz bitches and shit.it got wild.

Yeah I got this cd, jd takes a load of dre n timbo beats n freestyles over the top.
I will believe Detox when I hear a single for it and have the album in my hands.
but what if you loose your hands before Detox drops?
