was this a one day release? or did u watch it today and it is still in theaters... i dunno, the way they worded the commercials hella confused a lot of people. I know so many people that were wondering whether they meant that it was only going to be in available in theaters starting friday (which would be most likely), but then the way they worded it, "Only in theaters march 3rd", you can kinda wonder if they meant that it was only going to be a one day showing

Dope movie, loved all the performances, and the industrious prostitute joke had me rolling!!!!

i know a lot of people are going to be dissapointed because they are going to be expecting a lot of dave's comedy, and i saw a fair amount of people leaving the theatre too during the movie, they dont appreciate good music...oh well, i loved it.

It's not a 1 day thing. I guess they fucked up on the wording because it's gonna get continuous play in theaters. The shits been selling out pretty good too out here.

I kinda like how Chapelle tricked people into going to the movie. Sure you had some people leaving early disappointed that he didn't dress up like Rick James the entire time. The up side was there were alot of people in that theater that got exposed to some great music for the first time. I was sitting next to this dude who kept asking me the names of all the artists because he was interested in them for the first time. I think it opened alot of people's eyes.

my brother went to the movie last nite and told me that it was bad. i was confused caus it looked pretty good and i asked it, was half of it a concert? and he said yeah so i immediately understood why he didnt like it. i'm still gonna peep it neway b4 i check out V for Vendetta

I liked it.  Everyone went to see Chappelle, and he was in it a good amount, but it was mostly about the music, and that was tite too.  It was cool cuz I'm sure a lot of the people in there had never heard of a lot of those guys before the movie, and they definitely put on a good show.
