i"m one of those who putz lyricz above beatz so when i bump my fav lyrical shit i prefer to bump it on my cd player wit headphones....shitz like "illmatic" "ready to die" and "reasonable doubt" almost never r bumped through my sterio.....PACz shit....X to da z"s earlly underground shit....
what i do bump on my sterio iz shitz like "chronic", warren g shitz....

Yo "Illmatic" is a perfect album to bump personally with headphones, I find "Reflection Eternal/Train Of Thought" a good listen with headphones too. I suppose it depends what your listening too, I mean shit like Dre's "2001" suits a banging sound system perfectly.
