Alan Moore has shown no support and when he was quoted as showing support he went out of his way to say he isn't. As with every other Alan Moore book tunred into movie I expect it to be ruined by changes. That being said the Matrix guys could still make it a decent film. I just don't expect it to be the V For Vendetta I know and love.

Yea, ALan wants his name OFF EVERYTHING he doesn't own...he's really pissed at DC. The matrix guys first had a script that was pretty much word for word with the comic..then changes happen. I dont wanna spoil anything but...how we meet Mrs Hammond and what she does is WAY WAY different from the book..but i have to see this movie.

I'm not expecting to hate it. I just won't re-read the comic before I watch. That way if it sucks I can just come home and read it.

How about we watch it instead of judge it immediately?

Overall, decent move. Very overhyped & the middle of th emovie dragged like a bad leg on a cripple.

Well the book was written during the time that American's hated the Brits, so to answer your question; An American Movie with an American Hero.

WOW. THEY CHANGED ALMOST EVERYTHING. I didn't even recognize it...the TV speach from the Book is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. They made V into too much of a pussy in this movie. lol

But Overall, as a movie, it was good...but damn..could've been A LOT better.
