The Next Generation Video Ipod?

If this is real, then it's the most amazing mp3 player I've ever seen:

06 March 2006 - More photos have turned up on the web of a device that is claiming to be the next “real video” iPod.

The images are the best we’ve seen here at Pocket-lint so far and were originally sent to website MacShrine, but due to what appears bandwidth restrictions, the site isn’t accessible at the moment.

However that wasn’t before MacRumours manageds to get copies and put them up online in its gallery - here

As with previous fakes that have shown up in the last couple of weeks the images show a 4-inch iPod made up completely of a single screen with touch controls.

The three images are shown with the new Apple Hi-Fi Speaker system, with one image showing the device playing a movie, on image being held so you get a better idea of the size and the final image showing the screen looking like a regular 5th generation iPod but displayed on the screen.

While most Apple fakes we see have that heavy photoshop look, these images seem to be very real, and the photographer has even included an iPod nano in one of the pictures. If this is a fake then it is very good.

That looks TIGHT.  I'm sure people would scratch the fuck out of the screens since the clickwheel is now just projected on the touch screen..

WOW! looks the shit, could well be real, looks like all the claims and info i have read about the next gen so doesnt surprise me...real impressive, lets hope the batteries have been improved to match and see what extra features they have added, props sik!

Yeah with the wheel being a projection, the screen could get scratched hella easy, or at least smudged a lot.  Dope idea, but not sure if i'm convinced.

the one you posted is a fake.... all these on that page are pics of mock ups fabricated fakes... but some look really really good.... anyway check it out... although these are all fake i totally see apple going somewhat in this directiong with this....

In the new EGM magazine theres an article saying that apple is gonna release a new device called igame at E3,guess will have to wait and see,said it will have licenesed games i think some of the games mentioned were Call of duty, madden (gotta have madden), tony hawk n a few others,plus be a full functioning ipod,gonna be interesting

Nearly a week ago, my good friend, Zweben (A graphic artist, like myself) and I were rather bored. We were looking over the (at the time) recently proven fake image of the video iPod:
