i believe we'll see a minority president a while from now but as for a woman president i don't see that happening for at least 100 years idk, that's just the world we live in today.

many countrys have/had a woman for president/prime minister. I think we will see a woman as president of usa soon. It will be a good thing, there will be no more stupid war

I don't see why it really matters. Presidents don't have that much power legislatively, so if women want to have power it's better to run for  Congress and the Senate no? Or do I misunderstand US politics? Besides, it should be the best person for the job regardless if it is a man, woman, black, white, etc...

Presidents do have a lot of power, though, partially because of their veto abilities.  If the president tells congress he'll veto their bill, they wont' even send it to him, they'll have to rework it to make it more of what he wants.  So he actually holds an extreme amount of power.  This is one of the reasons Bush hasn't vetoed 1 bill yet, because he threatens to veto them and they change them before he ever sees them.

There won't be a female president for at least the next 20 years.

kinda ironic that the us is one of the most progressive countires in the world yet they find it hard to accept a woman as a president whereas other countries have.
