How is overpaying someone worth it? Since he's getting something like 10 miliion the first year, all he needs is a minor injury and he'll sit out the rest of the season. Just like he did in his last years in Oakland.

its worth it becuase we have nobody on defence and we have cap space. If it was another team, then the overpaying would NOT be worth it. nick barnett was are best player last year, not saying much. However, we got the Manuel guy from Seattle, so thats our best signing of the year so far lol.

lol. should have went after lavar with that money. woodson is more injury prone and if any indications coming out of oakland r correct hes past his prime. well with aj hawk and woodson there defense will def be improved from last yr.

glad to be rid of him. This dood used to kill me. He had all the potential to be the best shut down corner in the league, but his attitude was bullshit. The Raiders need some players on defense definetely, but they need some guys with toughness. Woodson didnt come to play on every down.
