James Brown appreciation thread!
« on: April 28, 2006, 03:07:25 PM »
I read on a site that James Brown will be performing live in sweden this summer, and it got me thinkin how amazing this dude is!

he is not johhny cash or ray charles, he is James Brown, and the reason why there aint much talk about him is proberly just because he is alive.

but i would like to give props to this truly amazing artist while he is still with us!

i read that he is the most sampled artist ever, and that he is one of the most influencual artist for the 60's soul, 70's rnb, and the 80 and 90 hiphop!

btw, my favorite track by james brown is "try me", i belive its his 2nd hit... from the mid 50's..

James Brown is a classic dude.

I was supposed to go see him do a show at a casino In Ct, Mohegan Sun, but I eneded up not being able to go. I like James Brown and all but I heard that during his show that night people were walking out on him.  :( I was shocked.  :o

dude is a legend sorted!
Hittman is not a real person. He was a computer program generated by Dr. Dre and Mel Man back in the mid 90's. When Dre started treating Mel-Man like shit, Mel infiltrated the computer and put a virus in the hittman program
