Led Zeppelin - over the hills and far away

Many have I loved, many times been bitten
Many times I've gazed, along the open road

Many times i've lied, many times i've listened
Many times I've wondered how much their is to know

Many dreams come true, and some have silver linings
I Live for my dream, and a pocket full of gold

Mellow is the man that knows what he's been missin
Many Many men, can't see the open road

Many is a word that only leaves you guessin'
Guessin' bout a thing, you really ought to know
You really ought to know.

I think Snoop oughta cover that song, LOL... he could sing that as the hook, then rap verses about it.  That would be revolutionary.

The last meal had the chance to be better than Doggystyle.  The words on the album are much deeper than Doggystyle.  The only thing that Tha last meal was missing was production and hooks.  If you listen to Doggystyle all the hooks are tight.  Snoop had someone singing all of the hooks on Doggystyle on Tha last meal Kokane fucked it all up(imo).  1 or 2 Kokane tracks are cool but he totally fucked up a few tracks and snoop knows it, Just look at all the singles, all those songs that kokane was snoop did not realese one with kokane on it.  But snoop is has been deep for a while now.  Too much Kokane and meech(all his beats sound the same)  whenever he is on someone else album his verse is always tight.   To those who say he fell off,  Well how do fall off when your last album sold 2million copies.  As a matter of fact all of his albums have went plat.( including muder was the case, and eastsidaz.)  So who fell off?...

im probably one of the absolut biggest snoop fans over here, even though im not posting massive snoop-thread... hell .. i dont post many thrreads at all... i dont even make many posts...  but back to the subject... it's good that people starts recognize how good "the last meal" really was ... people just used to check them beats, but slepped @ the lyrics... they didnt  understand how i could say that "last meal" is a 4-4.5/5 album... .. snoop is deep ... probably the deepest rapper in the westcoast right now.. look at dre for example .. the only thing he raps about is to  fuck bitches, xzibit raps about smoking wed and drinkin alcohol, kurupt rappin about smackin niggaz .. .. ... snoop is the only of them with sum deep in the lyrics ... .. now im not sayin that kurupt, dre and X are bad rappers.. they're one of the best... but they're gangsta rappers... Snoop is not only a gangsta-rapper.. he also have sum mos def skillz

Tha Eastsidaz - Duces & Trays
500 000
Tha Eastsidaz - Tha Eastsidaz
1 000 000

And that's from WC2K, I thrust their facts.

I think "Last Meal" is 4.5 of 5, and a strong one at that mark.
Dre/Kurupt are both on some fuck a bitch-shit, but you can't say that Xzibit doesn't get deep from time to time. Not as often as he used to, but I think "Man vs. Machine" will show the lyrical Xzibit. Also his first two CD's showed that he's pretty deep, and ain't to be fucked with lyrically. Snoop can get deep at times too, but he's also often on the fuck a bitch-tip.
But when he gets deep, you often gotta listen to it many times before you understand what he actually meant.

naww between 8-10 millions, by the way , the album didn't went platinum the first week , the source claim that the first emeniem lp was the first and only to hit this mark, but i didn't felt em (a bit more today) at this time... sure maybe it's over 10 millions by now , but on the first week and shit,  :-/ don't think so

here's the article from the source , for the new 5 mics mark...

not sure what we were smokin', but if today's rappers could drop a joint half as nice as doggystyle, hip hop would sound a whole lot better . Virtually every songs on snoop's debut is a classic ( gin and juice, ain't no fun , etc). Unfortunately, nobody makes music like this anymore. Not even snoop

shit not because i'm a bigg bigg fan of snoop dogg , but i think this quote is tight, it shows people how hip hop have change to the worst ( commercial) , plus the last sentence tells that even snoop doing some commercial shit , because thats the game now, hope it change now, hope that the blueprint and stillmatic mark a point in hip hop history as the albums who restart the great music or something...

I Don't Give A Fuck If I'm Misunderstood

you should care if your misunderstood?

whats the value of and intelligent man in the world if he cant express his ideas in a way people can comprehend.

I started thinkin' snoop was gonna be real since he said, "And it's drivin' the cops crazy, but ain't nothin' but a black thing, babbbbby"  LOL

Then when he did that verse on "Bitches ain't Sh*t" about how he was heartbroke about his girl cheatin' on him, I thought man, that's real...

Lil Ghetto Boy was all about the street trap

Tha Day Tha Niggaz Took Over was all about the Rodney King thing, of course, which was an interesting mature topic to touch, even though it was kind of an immature song.  Dope though.

Stranded on Deathrow where he shouted out all his friends in jail, and the doggpound... All that stuff was real

I wonder why Ice Cube changed his mind and decided to stop being real?
