I love Beanie, he gotta be one of my favorite MC's in the game today. I just bought the reason yesterday, i think its a good cd, I'm lovin "What Your Life Like 2"

He a good MC, but a little boring at times with that monotome voice. Also his albums disappointed me a little, after all the cool cameos on Jiggas shit. Of the last album I liked best "Still got love for you", and "Mack bitch" was good. He trying to keep it a little too grimey for his own good.

i'm not really feeling him much i think he's sort of overrated even though his cd's only go gold. He's alright i suppose but i wouldn't really call him a true MC becuase he lags a lot lyrically....i dunno at least he's better than bleak whose just a total waste of cd plastic

The thing with Beanie is it takes a while to get into him. I had bought his "Truth" album on the first week because The Source gave it 4 and a half mics. (I still had some faith in the source at that time). At first I just thought they just on Jay's dick once again by giving it such a high score but after about a year I really got the hang of him. By no means is he anywhere near the greatest, I think he'll soon surpass Jigga, but he is well on his way to rap's elite. He just needs to get off that label, and tone all those kitchen/chef metaphors (he over does them).        Listen to the last track on the Dynasty Album when does the verse on his father, if his emotion does not get to you you are just hating and refusing to open your mind. Personally I feel him more on that track than I felt Pac on his Father song from "Strictly". Then Jay Z comes on the track and ruins it but Beanie is excellent. Bottom line he is Good . ALMOST GREAT.

I like him a lot.  He's fairly good lyrically, but he needs to expand his focus.  Talking about the streets is excellent, but he doesn't give any detail.  He doesn't tell a story.
