i thought the album was tight...i bought it and watched the DVD (which was nice)...of course i would have liked to hear some Quik on there...but Suga Free is super-talented...way more talented than most of the rappers on any coast...its not his fault people can't get over the fact he ain't with Quik anymore...

I dint get the record becuase in Montreal we dont get undergournd westcoast records. I heard some tracks wich i thought were banging specaily the onle with the alternative guitars. A lot of the ebats i find actualy sound like something quik would of done.

I think this new CD was decent, but like everyone else has been saying, there were a lot of shitty songs on it with the other stuff.  If it was like a 12 track CD it would have been good, but still nothing compared to the Quik produced album.  This one just seems generic.  Also, I don't think it was just the lack of Quik on this one.  I can't even quote a Suga Free line from this CD!  He had so many one liners in the other two, he really toned down the lyrical content on this as well.

I don't think this album is nearly as bad as people say...there are some real nice tracks on here, like Peace of Mind. That track is amazing.

why im surprised yall feel like this, i thought just add water was one of the best releases of the year, way better than Last Testament... I didn't even feel the missing quik beats.. I thought it was his most diverse and strongest album after street gospel..

what's on the dvd? i might buy it if the dvd is worth watching, lol

The DVD is longer, and better, than the one which came with The New Testament IMO. This one has Free just walking around clowning, performing songs (u just see parts of different club performances and so forth) and you also get to see him in the studio listening to his new songs (probally the coolest part).

Guess the CD is not worth buying for the DVD alone, but considering all the good tracks on the CD PLUS the DVD u really get your moneys worth with this one 8) fa shickadeee

I thought it was his most diverse and strongest album after street gospel..

i agree about the diversity; but to me it seems as though he is struggling to find his style and flow throughout the album.  i think that it would have been a good first album, but i struggle to view it as a strong third album.  maybe that is just because i am used to how well he fits the beats by quik.

i have heard some mumbling of a konnected project 2, does anyone know if there is a shred of truth to that?

i wasnt even trying to say quik's album was weak, on the contrary it was one of my favorite albums that ive purchased in the last few years, i think free's sound as an artist fits better with those 80's electro-funk type beats, which i think is a sound that quik established for him, but it's not a sound that i've heard quik himself messing with too much lately...i agree wit yall though it was a lot of filler, i just felt like it was enough good songs on there to make it worth purchasing...like i said if someone could streamline his beat selection a little bit he could drop dope albums with or without quik, thats my opinion.
