So Nate Dogg's still selling, that's good. Warren G is out though, and Mobb Deep is selling despite the critic they gotten.

This is why i hate the rap industry, this is why i refuse to turn it on MTV or BET.... the last time i saw BET... i saw more than 5 videos with Timbaland in it... nothing against him, but look at how much of a shift there is right now... EAST... but i'm going to go with the word EASTY... like Ax said... things are EASTY right now... I can only recall seeing two westcoast videos when i was watching.... they were "Knoc" and "Pop Lockin Part II"  ....  then you see cats who can't rap... like petey pablo... you see boring cats like fabolous... you see thugged out cats like state patrol... you see blingers like cash money... and all this shit is being grinded through the viewers mind... i had to turn that shit off.... then i turn on the radio... same shit.. all this EASTY shit... now i'm not dissing the east, i dont prefer their music, BUT THATS ALL THAT IS EVER ON... when you have Petey Pablo outselling Warren G... its like saying Mugsey Bogues droped a double nickel on Michael Jordan.... it shouldn't happen, but thats how it is today... so i'm going to do what Ax said and support the west, thats what i like... and support indy...

No disrespect, but if you say Petey Pablo can't rap, then I say Warren G is disabled. Warren's lyrical skill is far from revolutionary. In fact, very weak.

Yeah, you got a point, but Petey Pablo sure as fucc aint no big rapper neither. He might got that Mystikal-voice, and he may sound like a badass on interviews, but he aint no big rhymer.

Maybe Petey Pablo isn't the best lyricist of the "game",but his album is tight.
It's scandalous that PAIN IS LOVE is 2 time platinum and IRON FLAG only gold!  ::)

Petey pablo can't rap... he shows no intelect...  so therfore, i'm not trying to go backwards, im going forward with my mind... most of the people like his album because of timba's production.... its like one of those songs you listen to because of the beat, then after so many listens, you know the lyrics and actually like the song even though it was originally crap... and warren g... i would take him over petey pablo anyday...

Pain is Love has sold close to 3 million...It's at around 2.5 right now...Ja found a gimmick, rapping for the ladies and its working...I remember when dude was hardcore when he had his own click years ago, but nobody paid attention...Now he's outselling Jay-Z and DMX...
