2Pac to me is a Bay rapper. His albums pre Death Row was a strickly Bay area sound. Me Against the World had some Eastcoast flava, but Strickly For My NIGGAZ was so Bay Area that I was ready to get on a BART train when I put it in my ear phones. Shock G was the one that put him on, and Shock G was the main person behind his sound, and his style until Me Against the World. Thug Life was a Bay Area CD. 2Pac was a Bay rapper for the first 4 years of his career. Don't let the Death Row years fool you, that was only his last 9 months of like. 4 years of Bay Area, plus putting Bay Area rappers all over his Death Row music videos lets you know what region he claimed in death. If anything, 2Pac 1991-1995 was the greatest Bay Area rapper of all time.
