Brazilian Victories: 1970+1994=3964

Argentina won the its last cup in 1986. Before that, their last one was in 1978
Argentinan Victories: 1978+1986=3964

Germany won the last cup in 1990. Before that, they won it in 1974
German Victories: 1990+1974=3964

Following this logic, the winner of the World Cup in 2002 should of been the winner of 1962!

Haven't checked the draw to see if this is possible, but going on Maths I'd expect Italy to get to the final having done so at 12 year intervals since losing to Brazil in 1970. Winners in 82, and losing finalists (again to Brazil) in 1994.

To be honest I am cheering on Brazil as much as the next guy, but they haven't really shown anything great as of yet.. I'm geting much more interested in countries like Argentina or Spain..
