i see some truth in this
"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

I hope he learned his lesson from a business standpoint. Hopefully anyone that has a album put on by Snoop is being paid properly. Yeah I feel what you are saying. Every album after the Eastsidaz and Doggy's Angels 1st one it seems like 1 or 2 more singles would make the album sell but it dies off after that (213)

When Snoop is doing good the whole west coast is doing good, so I fail to see the issue here

lol, snoop has done so fuckin much for soooooooo many westcoast artists.  What the fuck do you want him to do?  Hold their hand while they wipe their ass?  These rappers are grown men, who need to get their lives straightened out and handle their own business.  Do you know how many people in the world would have loved to had the opportunities that bad azz, kokane, eastsidaz, doggy's angels, techniec, daz, kurupt, etc have had.

Whether these rappers feel they didn't get the right pay, well then thats their problem for not handling that part of the business before agreements were made.  Not to mention, just being brought up in the game and introduced by snoop should be well worth the compensation.  he is not doing anything wrong, if you could picture rappers as stocks, then snoop would be one of the top 5 nationwide to invest in.  Look how long soopafly has stayed with him.  Look at all the rappers who eventually came crawling back, after leaving him and dissing him.

Do you seriously think that snoop needs this dpg album to help his career?  do you think the 213  album did anything for him?  or the bad azz album, or doggy's angels, or eastsidaz?  No.  90% of the people who check out those albums, checked them out because snoop dogg put them out.  All those albums just got other people some exposure.

shit, thats a good point, I've never thought of it.  the thing is, if they actually put some effort into promoting these albums past the first single, everything would be fine.  And we got a lot of tight ass music along the way.  Even if those Eastsidaz albums were just a promotion tool for Snoop, think about how many classic tracks we would be missing out on if they never came out.

the thing is that none of those albums (eastsidaz, 213, dpg ect.) would never happen without snoop.....so take it as it is.....at least snoops putting that shit out there for the real fans.  he put in alot of work for those chuch mixtapes too , he made like 10 or 15 of those damn tapes with everyone on it....
