i've lost all my respect for 40. e-40 never got down like that thru out all these yrs, now hes trying to capitolize off of this wack ass gimmick that nobody gives a shit about. e-40 has 3 songs produced by lil jon and he still flopped.

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

Hahahahahaha! This nigga right here is mad. Obviously you're not from the Bay. It is not a gimmick, the hyphy shit itself. I don't know if what E-40 is doing is a gimmick or not, but he didn't create none of this shit. Ghetto kids with nothing to do did. It was a culture that's been here since the early 90s but it never had the name "Hyphy" until Keak coined it. You need to calm down, E-40 didn't flop, under 350,000 is a flop and he's about to pass that number real soon. And if he does flop who cares, The Bay has about 11 artists(this includes 3 groups) who all got signed to mjors in 2006 alone so far!! Not to mention that both FAB and Keak are in bidding wars and will also be signed by the end of the summer, haha! The Fuckin Bay is back nigga, with hyphy you either hate it or love it, no inbetween.. And it seems like most of the people that hate it are people from cities/regions that aren't doin shit no more, their favorite rappers can't even get on MTV/BET, let alone their region, haha. The Bay Area is blowin up and with all these people getting signed we should totally run the game in 2007, ya'll gonna be so tired of seeing us on TV lol.
