Warren G feat. Snoop Dogg & Nelly "Ghetto Village"
« on: January 26, 2002, 02:48:00 PM »
POWER 106 said that Warren G will be working with Nelly and Snoop on the remix to "Ghetto Village" called "My Ghetto Village". Both songs will be released as singles. The original will come out first and then the remix will be released to radio stations. Hopefully, this song will boost Warren's sales to platinum because his album definitely deserves the recognition. If you haven't GO COP THAT!

Whoa, this should definitely help sales, how couldn't it......everyone i know that has heard this song loves it already, so once the song is heard it should do well.

I am a little aprehensive about having Nelly on the track, but it will be interesting to hear him over this type of beat....plus Snoop on this shit is gonna sound mad tight.

Last time Warren had a dope ass remix aas a single, it did flop however......i mean, Game Don't W8 was produced by Dre, had Xzibit, nate and Snoop, and still it didn't do shit......i ciuldn't believe that cuz that song was  a straight hit right there.  Let's hope Universal gets this record out and people hear this shit........peace

I'm guessing the same reason Knoc-Turn'al had to put Missy on his track. Both Warren and Nelly are on Universal and I'm guessing the label execs put him on to boost sales.

Good lookin'.

Nelly could save some sales, but I'm still nervous to hear him on a WestCoast-beat with Snoop & Warren. They'd rather put Xzibit or Mista Grimm on there.

I agree with you about Nelly, he does seem to have a west coast sound. His sing song flow reminds me of a young Snoop Dogg almost. I would rather listen to Nelly than people like Ja-Rule, Cash Money, or Ludacris.
