the ronaldo box dive in the first half was terrible also pauleta had a blantent dive in the second half which was just as bad.. Fifa need to instruct the refs and linesmen properly, if they simulate a dive then they need to be carded.. seems like is only 50/50 on wherether the ref does or not..

C.Ronaldo, not Ronaldo, should have been sent off for diving, if the ref had any guts, or maybe a better view of the situation.

1. The incident by the sideline, where Ronaldo pretends to be obstructed with no contact, and falls on his ass. (The one when Domenech made the "spinning film" motion)
2. The incident when C.Ronaldo comes running into the penalty box, sees Sagnol raising his hand, which by magic immediately causes C.R. to fall forward like somebody trapped him with a foot trap, and then starts waving his hands, screaming for a penalty.
3. The other incident in the penalty box, where Ronaldo realizes he will never reach the ball with his head, so he starts leaning backwards as if he's being pulled in the shirt, then falling on his back, again waving his hands, applying for a penalty.

All 3 incidents deserving a yellow card, I'm conviced that at least 2 of them would have been handed if this was Premier League.

dont worry...Fifa now looks at all diving situations after the game...since usually ref's can't tell.

Watch the replay. Whether he meant to hit him or not, Boulahrouz did catch Figo in the face, and so Figo went down.
