Good lookin out on the mixtape....... shit is dope......I got a question may be you or the OG Nima can answer this question for me. Did EMI distribute Ice Cubes Record?? Because I didn't see any of their info on the CD.......

I think it's kinda true that just putting songs back-to-back on a CD and shouting your name over them isn't really the way it should be done, for commercial mixtapes at least. It really shows when the DJ has actually put effort into selecting the songs and mixing the shit together compared to the easier way of just slamming tracks on a disc. And since the DJ always puts his name on the cover, it would be cool feel and hear his touch on the CD, not just hear his name over the songs. If your name's on the cover, make an effort on the disc. I could make a mixtape right now and slam my name on the cover with huge letters, while the ones really responsible for the vibes on it would be the artists whose songs I took.

^^ Yeah I feel you, I couldn't count all the mixtapes I've seen around where DJ's have blatantly stolen songs from dubcnn, and put them on there.

The Predator

He shouldnt of ducked the Mack question when Cube's already dissed 10 savagely on 'click clack'. Tell it like it is.

Whats this about ghost producing?

But anyway regarding Alladin he was really an ill DJ.
He was winning DMC battles n shit defeating the likes of DJ Muggs etc..
He also produced the classic Ice-T album O.G.
Alladin should return to producing for the west.

Props for the interview.

I understand him not speaking on Mack 10.  It's probably some beef, but he's not playing it up and parlaying it into a bunch of hype which I respect.  I'm also glad he's stressing to people to be themselves and not automatically follow everybody elses formats.  That's a huge problem in hip hop across the board.  It's like he said, all the sudden not only did biting become acceptable, it became the cool thing to do.

I def want to hear his mixtape.

Great interview Nima.  You're steady asking good in depth questions.  Also, keeping it mostly about HIS business.  I gained lots of knowledge about his history and where he's going.  I had no idea Dub was his brother.  Crazy.
