Exclusive Envy Expo Feature (Video & Images) - July 23, 2006 By : Rud

Dubcnn was once again amongst the worlds media at the first annual Envy Expo on Saturday, July 8th 2006 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. We we're invited by the host of Sirius Satellite's Westside Hype Show and The Game's DJ, DJ Skee - who was presenting the show - as well as being welcomed by the organisers of the event. Los Angeles was presented with a look at all things envied: Women, Cars, Jewels, Sports, Shoes and Music.

As ever dubcnn was at the center in force to prepare the largest Envy Expo feature online with exclusive photographs, live video footage and more.

Hotdayum! What a hook-up! For a minute I thought that this update wasn't coming anymore, but man...Dubcnn came through again as usual. PROPS!

Cool to see the video performances of Mitchy, Damani, Omar & them. That was pretty dope. This is probably the only way I'll ever see those artists live in concert (well, apart from Omar then...I'm hoping that he'll tour Europe in 2007/2008 since Geffen & Interscope is backing him).

And lol @ Game's son throwing up the 'dub'. Hehe...that was cool

I thought I heard something about dubcnn during the course of the day  but thought I was trippin.

Good looking out on this.  Was hoping this would pop up on the site.  I was at the Expo, like all other big hip hop events in So Cal but it's cool to see some of the pictures that you guys snapped and all that.  Next year is going to be much better.  This year was all about them testing the waters.  Question for everyone there...was Reflex the DJ that was DJing most of the day?

Hopefully I'll be able to help out/contirbute to Dubcnn for Rock The Bells in two weeks.  Two years back Dubcnn used my review of the show for the front page news and I thought that was cool as hell.

We (Brazil St Camp) left before Game performed, we were gonna wait just to see what he would say, but he took his way to long to get on stage so we all bounced.

He said something along the lines of 'blood I see yall out there' and pointed towards the energy drink party bus/basketball area where all of you were standing during the dunk contest so I thought everything was cool.  Guess not.

I saw just as many Brazil Street shirts as I did blackwallstreet shirts lol

hmm I know a couple people stayed behind  who came with us(Mo, Games Dad, etc) but about 25 of us(we arrived 30 deep) left bout 15 min before game wound up comin on stage. We stayed through most of the dunk contest.
