Bad Intentions Hits UK #3 But...
« on: January 12, 2002, 10:07:11 PM »
Yea The Chart Postition Is Good For Dre Shows He's Not Forgotten In The UK

BUT...

I Was Hopin This Single Would Get Some Good Exposure For Knoc Build Up Some Non U.S. Fans But It Seems THat Most Places I Have Seen/Heard

Only Credit Dre + Only One Or Two Acknowledge Knoc

Although It Isnt A Tradgedy As Anyone Who Bought The Single Must Know Of Knoc - I Just Hate It When Artists Arent Acknowledged 4 Their Parts!

I Hope The UK Proves me Wrong And It Does Well Over Here Too!!

Cos I Have No Doubt This 'Bad Intentions' Was Used To Guage Peoples Support Internationally For The Knoc Release (As Well As A 'Wash' Single!)

peace

I didn't really expect this single to do this well, maybe top 10, but not top 5. So it's all gravy. But yeah, know what your saying about Knoc, but then Dre is always gonna b the main focus when it comes to newbies in the game. He's a big help for newer artists though. Lets jus' hope people pick up on knoc, he deserves the recognition.
I'm also happy to see Aaliyah reach #1 here, it's just a shame that she's not here to witness it. Most people have questioned her release, saying that this single has possibly only got this much recognition because of her death, which to an extent is sad but prolly true. I mean only a few of her recent releases here have charted well, & her music has been around for a long time now. It's pretty sad that it takes a death for some people to acknowledge something, guess it's true what they say about not knowing how good something is until it's gone. The same thing happened to Pac too  :(

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

iraq would just get annexed by iran

That would be a great solution.  If Iran and the majority of Iraqi's are pleased with it, then why shouldn't they do it?

I never expected "Bad Intentions" to do well commercially either.  I never thought it was a grear song, but it gave Knoc some mainstream recognition.

Nuff said. Logic is right here too, on colabo's it's always the big artists that get the most recognition. It should be the other way around, as most people already know the big artist's, and many are unknown to the likes of Knoc, Hittman etc.

Sinatra, I was talking about "More Than A Woman". It's very dope & she deserves the recognition, it's a damn shame as i've said that she's not here to witness it.

well b4 i read any further i just have to make it clear that i also did not think that 'bad intentions' would do any good either....but #3? anywayz....all my crew liked knoc on 2001 but think he sounds like a fuckin' queer bastard on this track...so i can't see them reaching for his album in a hurry unless i recomend it to 'em...shame they think that anyway.....although i didn't think much of the song myself!! fuck....i aint even gonna buy the single myself to tell u the truth.....and from the reviews i have seen about the wash soundtrack as a whole....i might not bother picking that up neither....but this is just my opinion....you all stick to what u likin'...............
