what y'all make of his new album.................

first of all i would just like to say the nigga got the worst promotional team in the game........he leaked all over the net, he out in europe i heard, yet he aint still out?? this nigga could have done shady records a huge favour if he was pushed right.......even though i aint a fan of homie, he got the team and names on his album to sell records, but i dont think nigga gon be pushing units no mo oh and

the album is HORRIBLE..........the end........all those eminem groupies who felt his first album acting like he this amazing lyricist.......shizzayum......didn't i tell y'all,lol..........nigga got outshone on his debut by all his guests......he lyrics were overrated by shady record groupies.....he sold platinum not cuz he reached out to the streets, its cuz all those em fans who heard his name all over his record went done copped it.......and now befo this album dropped.......em was talking about how obie progressed so much since cheers and how they gon reach the streets with this one.......y'all niggaz call this a steet record.....i call this a garbage record.......and the fuck is with eminems verse on the detriot anthem joint......he spit some nice lines but why is nigga shouting to much and not sounding like he rapping......he actually came nice on the hook yet once again the nigga dissapoints on the mic......he call this dope music.......?? the fuck type of ear that cat got?........

about cheers.....nigga got outshone by his guests on the amazing production on cheers and the fact he had some of dres best beats since 2001 was a great help.....

this album...............HOW THE FUCK CAN ANYONE BE A FAN OF EMINEM PRODUCTION??? he has one of the worst ears for good music ever.....i mean the nigga was ready to release this?? mayne, blood money was a better album than this.......

nah you know what, i am sorry to call out obie fans like this......cuz its your opinion even though y'all rate him wayyy to high.....nigga aint nuttin but your average tryna make a name forhimself rapper.......and eminem better start reaching out to real producers if he wants shady record artists to start having a good sound on their album....

imma come back tomorrow after listening this album one more time tomorrow befo i delete this off my laptop and then come with a thread claming its a classic.......

ya I agree, this album was not all that.....it was real dissapointing.......Cheers was the "suprise" record of the year when it came out, I was like "Oh shit this is dope!" the production and they way that album was put together was top notch IMO.....But this new Obie Trice cd didnt even get rotation for longer than a few days.....I listend to the Rick Ross cd more than the new Obie....and thats not saying much

Damn it's kinda upsetting to see all this negative feedback. After Snitch, Cry Now and even Jamaican Girl (I thought it was decent all around) I thought the album wouldn't disappoint, but seeing all this makes me wonder... Production wise and lyrically it was a huge step down.

Eminems production is horrible. He used to be dope around that Eminem Show/8 Mile/GRODT era. Dont know wtf is he doing now.

Well, this hasn't got me hyped for the album.

I liked 'Snitch', but only because of Akon's hook, which is the same melody as he uses on the Rick Ross album I think.

Shit, Detox is Not Not Not Not hooked me up with it (props for that)... and I'm gonna buy this, no fuckin doubt. I can see how some might not feel the production, at some places it's not something we're used to. But shit, I'm feelin' the album still, beats, lyrics and all. It ain't the best thing out this year, but still dope in my humble opinion.

Album is average at best.  The problem is that it really doesn't have a lot of stand out tracks.  I don't think it will sell that well.  It sounds to dark and gloomy.  5/10.  Barely worth keeping.

i guess im gonna be the only one helping him out i guess, his album was better than his last one, i mean he did his thing and no guest appearances that blew him away.  His lyrics got better and it shows.  His Beats i guess could have been better but they werent that bad that the album is worthless. IMO

To me the album is good and gets like 7.5/10.  It aint a classic by far by that doesnt mean its a bad album.  The only track that ruined the flow of the album i would say was really track 4 "Wanna Know."  The rest was still good.  If yall hate thats fine thats ur opinion but realisticlly i think hes gonna keep improving.
