Great video. Them two had a bunch of great promos together. Two of the biggest entertainers in wrestling.

That video made me look for some wrestling videos on youtube myself and this is what I found.

Rockers vs. Power & Glory from Summerslam 90.

Power & Glory were a very underrated team in my opinion and they had one of the greatest tag team finishers in history which can be seen at the end of the video. Sad thing about the video is that one of them is dead already. Whatever old video you´re watching chances are that one is dead already. It´s fucked up. RIP Hercules.

Classic! I remember Hercules but not the other fella. Tag teams were the shit! back then.

It´s Paul Roma. Before he was in this team he was a face in a team called "The Young Stallions" with Jim Powers. In WCW he even was a Horseman for a shot time. Although I liked him as a heel and especially in this team he´s seen as untalented/unliked by "wrestling insiders". That´s what I read on wrestling sites at least.

McMahon loves to push the big men, as seen in the Rockers vs. Power and Glory match. But in the end, if a wrestler is truly worthy, they will be the World Champ, even though they spend a whole match hurt from a chain attack. The cream rises to the top. As for Roma, he sucked dick as a singles wrestler, and was WAY better off as a tag team wrestler, were someone would hid his weaknesses.

Yap. I mean I never cared for Roma or Hercules before they became Power & Glory. I just thought they were cool and shit, their finisher was so great.

Late 80´s to 90ish was so great for the tag team scene. You can check the 20 man tag team match from Survivor Series 88 on youtube. There were 10 tag teams and "only" 2 or 3 were "inferior". That´s how fuckin great the tag team scene was back then.

Besides that, (from what I´ve read)  Shawn really had a legit knee injury coming into that match. That´s why they did that little thing with the chain at the beginning. Doesn´t bother me though cause it shows how much of a great wrestler Marty Jannetty was.

any news on a combeck or has his band really kicked off

He's basically staying away from wrestling all together. Dude has been doing improv comedy, hosting a satellite radio show, and I heard recently doing some show on Fox that's being produced by the American Idol guys.

I think he'll be back. Wrestling is what he's best at. He probably just got fed up with the bullshit of it all, and wanted to accomplish other things in his life. That's cool, at least he actually put Cena over before he left.

yea, he said he wanted to come back to wrestling eventually before completely retiring

I don't know man.  I saw another quote from him where he said basically he'd have to be homeless before he'd ever wrestle again.  In reality though we're talking about Chris Jericho; he jokes around a lot, when he left wwe he put on his webpage a picture of him standing in front of a TNA logo... so he doesn't mind playing around with the wrestling fans.  I guess in the end we'll just have to see what happens.  Apparently he's making much more money outside of wrestling, so who knows?  He's almost like Roddy Piper, somebody who quit the game at the top of their popularity even though they were young and fairly healthy.

After winning the Undisputed Championship, I think Jericho felt there is nothing more to do. I think he should have one more title run, but honestly, how do you top off being the first Undisputed Champion. He use to always have a drive before he won the titles, like he had a huge chip on his shoulder, and would pull off Match of the Year calibor matches with even X-Pac. Jericho was that deal, and it seemed after that, he kind of became more focused on the entertainment part of wrestling, and not really giving the actual wrestling 100%. Like his angle with Trish and Christain, he was great in promos and pushing the angle, but the wrestling was not the Jericho that was carrying others to 5 star quality matches.

Jericho was cool kind of like the Fonz was cool.  Like the Fonz was always not really in the greatest shape, he didn't lift weights or anything and he was kind of stupid sometimes, but still he was so cool everybody believed he could kick anybody's ass and all the girls wanted to date him.  Jericho would always be just a little bit out of shape, and not quite give his all in a match, but you'd just know he's the fucking best guy there, even though he never actually showed it.

I remember from 1997-2001, Jericho was voted best wrestler (in terms of performer, not shooter Shallow) every year in a row it seemed by wrestling insiders. He just had it. Now it's Angle, but that's because Angle is a beast like non I've ever seen before in terms of wrestling.

Jericho's best ever work was with Greenberg.  Nobody served that guy like Jericho did.

WCW dropped the ball with that feud because Goldberg got butt hurt. Jericho was even willing to put Goldberg over, he just wanted the feud. Then he made Goldbergs career look like a joke, even after putting Goldberg over during his WWE run.
