This is a pretty dumb question to ask on a Westcoast board where most of the people think that 2Pac is the greatest

but anyways, I think Hit Em Up & Ether are about the same, but only because i lose interest after Pac's verse. If it wouldve been a Pac solo, it would be miles beyond Ether

Lyrically, Ether is faaaaaaaaar superior to Hit Em Up.......but Hit Em Up is better in the agression department. That rant that Pac did at the end of the song is probably the most violent rage ever captured on tape.

Lyrics are very important when it comes to a diss song. Pac had the energy on Hit Em Up, but he didnt pull anyone's card like Nas did on Ether.....

^^^Pac dickriding at its finest......Against All Odds is NOWHERE near Ether. Funny thing is, Pac is my fav MC ever, but to say Hit Em Up is the best diss song ever is absurd. That title goes to "No Vaseline" [greatest diss song EVER]. Hit Em Up was great for its energy and raw anger, but lyrically its AVERAGE, and is nowhere near a diss song like Ether in that department. Pac fucking Biggie's wife is only a rumor and hasnt been certified 100%, while everything Nas said in Ether was FACT.
