Is there a way to change an m4a to an mp3?

Is there anyway to do that. If anyones knows please let me know I really need this.

if no DRM itunes will do it easily.. .but if it was purchased of the itunes music store it wont... so you need to burn it to a cd then rip it... thats about the only way... unless you get a audio out recorder and record the file that way...

How will I do it on itunes? I didn't buy of them.

on itunes go to the preferences and go to the option "importing" and change the settings to MP3 and then go and right click on the file you want to convert over and there should be a option there.

You'd be bettter downloading it again in mp3 because it will just make the quality really shit.

no it wont... try before you knock it... ive done it before... still pretty good quality... not even really noticeable...

I have tried it, I even have a converter for it. If it didn't make any difference then private torrent sites wouldn't ban you from posting them.
