Great news for 'Pac fans, His last album was the best selling Rap/Hip-Hop album ofthe year clocking over 3 Mil sales, just 2 millin sales behid the top seller of all genres, Shaggy's "Hotshot". Here's the passage from RIAA.COM:
"Despite his untimely death in 1996, Tupac Shakur continues to release multi-Platinum-selling recordings. 2001 was no exception as the hip-hop legend's "Until The End of Time" was certified Gold, Platinum, and triple Platinum, easily making it the best selling hip-hop record of the year. They count double albums twice.  So it really only sold 1.5 million albums.  The same thing happened with Biggies album.  It just went Diamond, but it has only sold 5 million copies.

Do you think the money hungry Record Companies give a lovely fuck if you are One-person or 2-people? No. To them, someone gave them MONEY for 2 albums; so why not count it like that?

Its not normal though, cuz double albums are alot more expensive. Its easier for 5 million people to buy a single cd than it is for 5 million to buy a double cd..........thats why double cd's count as two.
