An artist dubcnn featured back in 2004 and again last year was the Latin artist by the name of Malverde. Hailing from the Cochella Valley in Southern California, this up and coming emcee has been working hard and was featured in the March 2005 issue of The Source magazine.

Since then Malverde has been grinding and releasing music and just recently was at the Snoop Dogg "The Blue Carpet Treatment" release party to premiere the remix to the single "Vato" which was arranged by DJ Jam.

The remix was recorded at Tha Hot Spot studio and is available here on dubcnn to download and at your local radio stations now to request.

For those that speak and understand Spanish, Malverde came correct. Reminds me of dude that Quik put on the Fandango remix.

Malverde has what it takes. I've known dude about 2 years now. He's not Sinful, but those are hard shoes to fill. Sinful is the illest rapper to ever bless the mic in Spanish. Nonetheless, Malverde is someone to look out for. Plus, he's dropping on Machete/Universal, so once they stop pushing all the Reggaeton, they'll be able to give him a great push.
